Similar to pony days, we will now have a weekly art post every Friday completely open to any skill level. To submit to it, simply send an email to Submit@equestriadaily.com with OPEN ART as the subject. For the sake of making these posts easy to get out on time, we will require either Deviant Art or Tumblr links, so be sure to include a link to one or the other.
Now go! Your open art has arrived. Since all skill levels are welcome, be sure to be nice if you provide critique or feedback.

The My Little Pony dating sim Pony Tale Adventures has released a tiny little contest update with a hidden easter egg somewhere in the game for Halloween. The first person to find it and email spooky@spookitty.net with it will have a pony created by them get a cameo in the game. Title the email EQD Contest to make sure you get in.

It seems to be a popular trend to have Twilight standing alone in some unknown and mysterious place. I like to think she ends up in all of these places because she sneezes and accidentally teleports herself somewhere.

Someone literally got their waifu today~
You've probably seen many a plushie post headered with a Pinkie Pie in her season one saloon dress rockin somewhat suggestive fishnets. Apparently I didn't realize I was defaulting to that one for a lot of those. Amazingly she created a new one right as this post went up, so have this 10/10 waifu Flutters instead.
ButtercupBabyPPG has been creating awesome plushies with loads of cute accessories for awhile now, using some of the most show-accurate custom patterns out there. If I imagine ponies in 3D, this is usually what I default to.

Last month we posted about a new book listing on Hatchett's Website talking about a roadtrip storyline, with a release date way out in July of 2019. The description and listing has since changed, hinting even more that this might actually be based on a brand new episode, rather than Road to Friendship. It's still pretty vague, but it includes the full mane 6:

The release date has also been bumped up to June 25th, a week earlier than previous. Hopefully more information arrives soon. It could just be a one-off adventure, but most of these are based on episodes.

My Little Pony and Avengers themed lolipops have been recalled over in Australia, 36,000 in all. Apparently a batch of them went out with metal contamination, though they don't go into detail on if this is large shavings of metal cutting kids, or trace amounts causing sickness. Either way, if you have either of those lolipops up above and live in Australia, it's probably a good idea to throw them out.

For anyone out there looking to collect the Best Gift Ever Blindbag ponies, they actually do have codes on the bottom of their boxes you can follow for specific characters. A better method than ordering them randomly and hoping for the best if you can find a store nearby.
Each box has a series of numbers and letters with the last one being specific ponies. Head on down below for the details.

Badge vending machines have popped up in Korea that give out various pony designs. Each one is about $2. We have no idea if these will be migrating elsewhere, but they are using the oldschool vectors so I'm pretty sure most of us have enough stuff with the same imagery at this point.
