Best Gift Ever Christmas Special No Longer Airing Early in UK

The Best Gift Ever Christmas Special popped up on TV listings in Europe as airing early the other day, but this is apparently no the case. A message sent to Tiny Pop over on Facebook has confirmed that it was a glitch, and the slot will be replaced with an Equestria Girls special instead.

So we are back online for 4 days and 12 hours from the time of this post! Prepare for it! Expect the usual stream parties and celebration once it airs.

Electro Music: Etherium Apex - Real Magic [Complextro] / bank pain & PegasYs - Flipside (feat. Flittzy) [Glitch Hop]

Etherium Apex just keeps releasing cool stuff! He's got one about Trixie here, which makes excellent use of vocal samples and chops, as well as some fun melodic movement. The second track we've got for you is an exceptional feat of story-telling and sound design from bank and Peg. Flittzy's narration sets the scene of struggling ponies in a city under Luna's watch, before some awesome future bass and glitch hop stuff takes centre stage. Check them both out below!

Discussion: Now That the School Story is Done, What Did You Think of It?

It's no secret at this point that Hasbro wanted a school season to sell some toys. The team over at DHX did everything they possibly could with it to attempt to make it a good season. The concept has always been a challenging one to make fun for any show, but apparently it does sell merch.

So, here we are post-season. What did you think of the school as a concept? Was it a waste of a season? Or did you end up loving it in the end?

Hasbro Confirms Layoffs - Up to 10% of Workforce in Wake of Toys R' Us Closing

The "difficult changes" from a few days ago have been revealed. The Toys R' Us closures have had a pretty big impact on Hasbro's bottom line. Fortune reports that 10% of it's global workforce will be let go. While they did not specifically call out Toy's R' Us for the layoffs, they did note that revenue has dropped a whopping 12% in the previous quarter because of it.

Hasbro is not alone though, as Mattel noted back in July that the TRU closing would cost them 2,200 jobs.
