Rarity maybe one of Equestria's greatest fashion designers, but that title doesn't always come with a positive connotation.
Rarity is a dedicated artist and business pony even though her profession isn’t always appreciated. While the job of a farmer like Applejack or a teacher like Cheerilee is easy to recognize as legitimate work, being a fashion designer doesn’t really come with the same admiration.
In fact, it makes Rarity look shallow!
If, like me, fashion isn’t your area of expertise, this is the perfect time to better your understanding of Rarity’s mastery as well as her role in fighting back against old fashion tropes.

Rarity has had a pretty huge amount of plushie creation in the last year. Lifesize is the new hotness in plushland, so we've got a few of those plus a bunch of rockers. I've mixed in some old good ones too since it wouldn't be a post without celebrating tons of Rarity~

It's been a fun ride watching Rarity grow throughout the series. From a simple boutique to an Equestria wide chain she has managed to realize her dreams on the world stage! All while doing it with a bit of class of course.
With some of the most dramatic scenes from the show and some of the best lines simply thanks to the awesomeness of Tabitha St. Germain you'd be hard pressed not to find some sort of great Rarity moment during a season.
So what do you guys think lies in the future for Rarity? Continuing to expand her business or maybe something more? Do you think the whole Spike/Rarity crush will ever be confirmed or put to rest? What would you like to see from future episodes with our marshmallow mare?

It is time to put on your summer's best because it's time for Rarity Day! Everyone's favorite fashion horse is getting another day of her own so she can lavish in the spotlight (and show off her new Fall fashion line).
As always with these appreciation days you can expect us to post a number of Rarity themed articles throughout the day between our normal stuff.
