It looks like the unicorns reign supreme this time. Magic mares are hard to beat, what with their constant accidental destruction of everything. Can you imagine living in a world where a rogue unicorn can re-write time or encase an entire town under a gigantic fish bowl?

We've heard and see a lot about Saddle Arabia over the years, with their earliest appearance way back in Magic Duel. Unfortunately we haven't actually been there yet.
Big Jim answered the reason for this over on Twitter when someone asked why we didn't get to check it out in the recent episode. Turns out it's simply an issue of resources. Designing a brand new area is time consuming at the quality level pony demands. Considering these guys have a more unique horse-like model too, it's not really surprising that making a world for them would be a pretty big endeavor.

These two are pretty dang adorable, aren't they? I think I like Starlight best when she is hanging out with Trixie. Who would have known what felt like a one off character in season one would grow to have an important role in the show?
