I wonder what more we can learn about zebra culture? Zebras have been a thing since season 1, but we have learned very, very little about them over the course of the show. With as mysterious and mystic as Zecora is I can only imagine how cool her homeland must be.

I've seen a lot of gloom and doom in the submit box and Discord these last few days. Quite a few people are having straight up panic attacks, while many are spamming us with petitions demanding BronyCon continue. It's a hot topic, and as another one of those fandom pillar things, we here at EQD figured it would be a good idea to dive on in.
It's a big deal seeing the oldest and biggest fandom convention shut down, but should we all be worried about endtimes? Is the greatest pony filled decade actually ending? Lets analyze it below and see what we can do as a fandom to keep things tight!

For those My Little Pony fans in the beautiful country of Japan, you're in luck! The My Little Pony Pop-Up store will be returning from August 25th though September 7th! This Pop-up store will be located in the huge Japanese toy store Kiddy Land - Harajuku (address: 6-1-9 Jingu-mae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0001).
To compare the size of the store, it's about the same size as the former Times Square location of Toys "R" Us or Hamleys in London. This store is huge!
To celebrate the occasion, Hasbro and Sanrio have teamed up to produce limited edition My Little Pony/Kiki & Lala merchandise. Like Mugs, iPhone Cases, canvas prints, and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't identify on the flyer released by the My Little Pony Japan twitter.
In addition to the crossover merchandise, there will be other limited edition items available for purchase created by Hasbro's Japanese MLP Licensed partners. Like for instance a new "Summer Special" variant cover by s_bis for the Phase 6 Translated edition of MLP: Pony Tales Volume 2! And two canvas prints created in collaboration between Phase 6 and SEGA Toys featuring Sara Richard's covers for MLP: Microseries issues 8 & 10!
If you happen to find yourself in Tokyo between August 25th and September 7th, consider stopping by and checking this place out!

Today marks a special occasion. An IDW comic featuring covers from not one but two artists from within the fandom. Plus one of these artists drew and inked the story artwork.

The Sci-Fi traditional style pony pen-and-paper RPG Galloping Stars has started up another attempt at a kickstarter. Unfortunately their last round was a little short of the goal, so they have made some changes, including regular updates and a bit less lofty a goal.
Their target release date is BronyCon 2019. If you want in, check out their page here.
As always with crowdfunding projects, do your own research before hopping on board. We can't guarantee anything with these, but tabletop ones seem pretty successful in pony so far.

Quite a few years ago (Princess) Addictia produced a bunch of cool horse tunes including a track called Balefire that featured on the first Balloon Party album. After a while away (though still making music), and a name change to Superplastic, they're back with a banging hardstyle remix of The Spectacle! It's a pretty cool remix, and nice to see them back again. Check it out below!

Have a fashion based prompt, get a bunch of fashion horses. Makes perfectly logical sense to me! While today may not have been the most exciting of prompts, many of you took on the task and tried your hand at improving your skills when it comes to clothing and I feel you all did a wonderful job. We certainly have a ton of fashionable (and tasty) ponies in the gallery for you lot today.
For today we managed to bring in a total of 111 ponies bringing us up to 2498 ponies altogether! Keep up the good work everyone, 3000 is quickly approaching!
For today's prompt we're going back to the dingy and dark so we can play with emotions a little bit and maybe practice some lighting depending on how you all interpret the prompt (and there are many interpretations). Sure, we've had our ponies in peril, but have they faced their greatest fears or up during the depths of night when strange things might happen? That's why today I'd like you all to take a crack at trying to Draw a pony facing their darkest fear / Draw a pony during the witching hour.

Well, Galacon was fun, but that vacation is over and it's time to get back into the swing of things!

Well gang, that's a wrap! Another year, another day of Twilight has now come and gone. We hope you all enjoyed what we had for you today and that we'll see you next year for the next Twilight Day we have. For now we should let our little purple book horse sleep, it has been an exhausting day for her.
