With this short lull in the season, it’s a great time to do more analyzing of our favorite ponies and their adventures. However, the criticism isn’t going to end at the characterization or setting choices, it will continue on to how writers, actors, artists, directors, and producers either succeeded or failed at bringing us the stories we wanted to hear.
Thus the MLP:FIM staff are not exempt from the same scrutiny their art goes through, but unlike the characters they helped create, they are personally affected by the words of us fans.
I think we can all agree there’s a fine line between constructive criticism and hurtful scorn, but where is it drawn and how do we know we've crossed it?

Time to celebrate THE SUN. Celestia Day is a little over a week away on... 6/20 to celebrate the summer solstice. And because compiling pony art on 6/20 is really fun.
With that comes the usual collection of posts dedicated entirely to her. We will have an OPEN ART post as always where new art created specifically for her day will be displayed from any skill level, and feel free to submit anything else for it.
Just fire off an email to [email protected] with CELESTIA DAY followed by what it is as the subject. So for open art, make it CELESTIA DAY - OPEN ART.

eksoka's trance music is always awesome to hear, and this one's a bit more aggressive than usual, giving off a dark vibe throughout which reflects well in the inspiration from the artwork above. There's plenty of evolution of the vibes throughout the track to keep it interesting, and lots of nice little details throughout. Check it below the break!
