The chest floof is a defense mechanism for ponies: When inflated it stuns any predators with cuteness, allowing the pony to either escape or attack. Very ingenious.

Should we just call comic #69 fandom edition at this point? With Pencils doing the art on the entire thing, and Sophie Scruggs throwing her skill at the cover up above, it's looking like that might be the case! Trixie and Starlight will be available to rock your comic world some time in August. At least the cover of your comic.

A new pony snowglobe making set has popped up on "The Toy Shop", a european based online toy store. It looks like it's just glitter and cutouts, so expect to make a huge mess if any of it gets away from you. Considering the age rating is 3+, you better have a vaccum handy! A few people mention leaks in the review section, though your mileage may vary.

We are entering the fringe again, but it's always fun to see what our Glorious creator is up to in the world of animation. Lauren Faust is working on a new show called "DC Super Hero Girls" Starring Super Girl, Bat Girl, Wonder Girl, Bumblebee, and Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz).

It's always cool to see that musicians are still able to put totally fresh spins on classic tunes from the show like Becoming Popular, and Tripon's new jump up D&B-style piece does just that! It uses the vocals excellently throughout the track, with smooth percussion and energetic synths that counterbalance the vocals in a way that feels like they shouldn't work anywhere near as well as they do, thanks to some production magic. An app called Quidd that revolves around sharing and collecting digital things has teamed up with Hasbro and released a new set of Friendship is Magic themed stuff to collect. This includes digital stickers and trading cards. An example of one below:
It looks like most of these are those oldschool vectors they used to use for everything.
Anyway, you can download the app on your phone, tablet, or whatever else you have running android or iOS
