Cute, soft tunes are the order of the day from strigidae most of the time, but this time the production levels feel higher than normal, and the energy is a step up too, with some awesome use of fun tropical-feeling sound design and vocal chanting to go with the main vocals. Check it out below for some great vibes about Starlight and Trixie!

Equestria Daily is sad to report that the second issue of the Hasbro Toy Box Quarterly (Diamond Code: DEC170521) was canceled in March of 2018.
News of comic cancellations usually fall under the radar, usually because there is always shiny new comics being released or announced at any given moment. The news eventually gets out once someone asks the question "Hey, I wonder what happened to that?"
While the cancellation is disappointing, it is not unsurprising. Repackaged reprints, meaning Trade Paperbacks, do not sell well at comic book shops. Dedicating an entire floppy to nothing but reprint materials was a risky venture. Made even more so by the price point of $5.99.
Taking IDW's library of Hasbro Licensed comics, and repacking them together in Hasbro Themed release is a good idea. This cancellation ended up being a case of a good idea executed the wrong way.

An article dedicated to the contrast between the girls and boys popped up on CNN's front page yesterday, hoping to answer the question of why it's weird for boys to like girly things, but not girls liking manly things. They used a pony image for the header, though that seems to have been swapped out.

The team over at the Fallout Equestria book site has started up a new project to host a printing of the Fallout Equestria splinoff "Duch and Cover", and adding on "Make Love Not War" to help beef it up a bit.

It looks like the season 8 books have started their listings over on Amazon. "Meet the New Class" has appeared, with the following description:
Princess Twilight Sparkle is opening a School of Friendship! Will her students get along? Meet the class and find out!
So, not a whole lot revealed. It's a passport book, so not too complex.
An exciting leveled reader based on the new season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!
