Pony Tupperware Appears

An Indonesian based Tupperware manufacturer has listed My Little Pony Movie themed containers over on their website. Why tupperware you ask? Because tupperware is awesome. I don't even use bowls anymore. its light, has lids, and easy to microwave in. Do you really need anything else to live a good life?

That being said, I have no idea how well that paint works in microwaves.

They are over here right now. Hopefully they make their way around the world so you can join me in the Tupperware revolution happening right now. Everyone's trading cryptos while the real opportunity is right there in their fridge.

New MLP Dating Sim/Visual Novel in the Works - "Pony Tale Adventures" (SFW Demo Available)

We've seen a lot of attempts at pony dating sims over the years, but they all tend to either die off with only a trailer or two, or release half finished then disappear. Turns out it's hard to get a giant team together to do something without drama, burnout, and general issues popping up.

Fortunately, it looks like this one being created by Spookitty and a few others is farther along than any even though it is just now hitting super early alpha. Pony Tale Adventures puts you in the "horseshoes" of a stallion making the big move to Ponyville. A brochure promises endless opportunities at the friendliest town in Equestria, and he wants in!

The L-Train is here again with a somewhat simpler track compared to his usual stuff, but with some gorgeous atmosphere nonetheless. The theme song for a fanfic of the same name, moodly atmospheric sfx are quickly replaced by the star of the song - some gorgeous sax composition that really nails what the song is going for. Editorial: A Look at the Benefits and Drawbacks of Continuity

Continuity is the only thing keeping a story from turning into a jumbled, disorganized mess. It's what editors are trained to cut movies and shows to, and so ingrained in the medium that most people only notice it when it's poorly maintained. In fact, the most prevalent technique for film and TV editing is called "Continuity Editing."

It's also used as a catch-all term for consistency, story coherence, and backstory. When this kind of continuity's talked about, people are normally talking about how a show handles changes, callbacks, or any sort of development.

And ever since season three, FiM's relied on that type of it quite a bit. Story arcs are more common, sequel episodes pop up like whack-a-moles, callbacks are all over the place, and more than a few new ponies have become recurring characters. That's all fine and dandy, but there's benefits and drawbacks to anything in storytelling. Even continuity.

As far as I can remember, nobody's ever really talked about the good and the bad that comes with applying a high level of continuity to a show like MLP.

So let's talk about that below the break.

The My Little Pony Movie Appears on Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic

Virgin Atlantic and Singapore Airlines have both scooped up the My Little Pony as part of their in-flight entertainment packages for longer haul flights. Chances are, this will be traveling to several different airlines soon as these types of contracts tend to travel just as much as theater movies do. Keep an eye out for more as the movie continues it's post-box office run.
