While the end of the ATG is quickly dawning on us that certainly does not mean that your artistic journey has to end there. From simple beginnings as long as you keep practicing, keep learning, and keep having fun with your artwork you can improve and do amazing things! Today I've had the pleasure of not only seeing those of you dedicated enough to put every prompt to paper in a single image, but I've seen your comments on how even after 30ish days you've already begun to improve!
That leads me to the header image you see above from VanillaGhosties. Vanilla participated in the 2015 ATG with the image on the left and decided to redraw that same image for today, the difference remarkable. That's why I believe if those of you out there remain dedicated to this new craft you're just stepping into you can truly do awesome things, you just have to put in the time and effort. I know you can all do it!
As for our count today, we brought in 79 ponies which brings us up to 3910 ponies in total. Well done everyone!
Now, down to business. Before we celebrate our graduation day it's time for us to tackle our last Makeup Day! So use the time to either get caught up before tomorrow, take a break or tackle prompts that you really liked this year again.

For the ATG - 29 Prompt I redrew one of the very first drawings I made and put color as well as shadows, I hope it turned out nicely.

Also thanks to my recent graphics art lessons, I finally learned how to create shadows and make use of clip masks. Photoshop is great for drawing!

While it's not technically a redraw of the Vinyl exhaustion piece I did, it sums up how I feel, and I guess it still is a redraw of the prompt. Still have a long way to go, but I can see a tiny bit of improvement. Didn't make all 29 days, but I managed 24 of them, which is far better than I expected, but still short of my goal of 25.

As a result, redoing the "Wild Night Out" was a good opportunity to see just how my style has changed.

I wasn't keen on redoing, or even colouring a past drawing from this Training Ground, so I tackled the Every Prompt At Once option. Just five modifications to the first exercise and presto! 28 things to do with a dead pony. Thus I was not only able to cover all the bases in one drawing, but I was able to do so with just one pony. All the prompts were writing prompts, not art prompts, and that made twisting a single frozen image to fit all the stories relatively easy.

This piece is drawn for the prompt from two days ago (draw a pony reaching the end of their journey/ meeting their end) and I thought of this scene from the 1997 movie "TITANIC" where we see into old rose's dreams and presumably her moving on to the next great adventure. I spent a total of 6-8 hours on this not counting all my breaks and stuff. Drawn with pencil, colored pencil, and a tiny bit of sharpie for the darker outlines. I hope this is still accepted despite the late hour, and I also hope that everyone likes this piece that I put so much time and effort into.
