What I've always loved about this prompt is getting to see all the different pop culture references our ponies end up in! Whether it's something a bit older or just recently released I always discover something new each year when we have this prompt. Not only that, but it tends to be a lot of fun and from looking at the gallery it seemed like you all had a blast.
Today in our pony gallery we managed to collect 141 ponies bringing us up to 2387 ponies in total! Nicely done everyone!
So we've had some chances to draw multiple ponies, expressions, different species, and interesting environments so while today's prompt may seem a bit boring by comparison I feel it teaches an important skill I hope you'll take beyond ponies or incorporate into your pony art from time to time.
While our ponies are usually of the non-clothed variety clothing has appeared in the show and drawing it to get it just right as well as come up with a design that works for your pony is a creative challenge in of itself! That's why for today's prompt I'd like you to try and Draw a fashionable pony / Draw a pony with good taste.

This is a crossover with JIm Butcher's excellent series, Codex Alera. In this world, people can commune with furies, the spirits of nature. I'm working on this as a series over on FiMFiction, but for the moment I have been struck down by writers block.
This particular scene is from the first chapter of the next entry to come - Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon have been using their superior furycraft to bully Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, until Sweetie Belle steps in to turn it into a fair fight.

Yeah I figured she'd need a break after I got the idea for this prompt. I STARTED to do another redraw from last year, but then I got the idea to do a tribute to the very first Pokemon game I EVER played, which was Gold. That game opened a LOT of doors for me, including sparking my inspiration to start drawing in the first place, my first pic being the first Pokemon I ever picked, Cyndaquil. :3
I tried to get the colors for this pic as close as I could to the actual game, and I even made pony versions for Professor Elm and the player's character as well. Who knows, I might draw more crossovers in the future! :3

It's a ponification of the cover of the third album by the legendary Progressive Metal band, Dream Theater, but in this case it's from the fictionnal Equestrian version of the band, "Luna's Dream Theater"
