A while back, there was a Drawfriend header image a bunch of people complained about, requiring a followup apology due to the somewhat saucy nature of it. I though belly rubs, others though clop. The art was amazingly well done though, and I honestly still have her as a wallpaper on my laptop in protest~

The artist has a ton of awesome pony art under their belt to go along with it. Taneysha has been dropping pony off on Deviant Art since 2013, and has improved IMMENSELY since their first cartoon horse postings. Further proof that if you just stick with it, you can become an art god too!

Q:) How did you stumble upon My Little Pony? What was your "origin" story if you will?

I met MLP by accident. First mlp thing that I saw before the original show was an animation pony.mov I liked it so much that I decided to get acquainted with original show.

Q:) What is the process you usually go through when drawing something new? What tools and programs do you use?

Before I start to draw something new, I study the professional artist’s works with these elements. For a long time I was drawing in Photoshop, but later I switched to Sai. But photoshop is still an integral part of my artworks.

Q:) Do you draw professionally? Or is this a side thing to another career or job?

At first, I thought it would be my hobby, but over time it turned into a real job.

Q: ) Who is your favorite pony and favorite princess? And if it's different, who is your favorite pony to draw?

After I watched the mlp the movie I really liked Tempest. In the TV series my favorite is Maud Pie. My favorite princess is Twilight Sparkle and I also like to draw her too.

Q:) What kind of challenges do you usually run into when drawing a character or subject for the first time? Has there ever been an image concept that completely stumped you?

The most difficult part for me is the first sketches. When I start to color everything becomes much easier. Sometimes I can't work with something without any reasons. Whatever I draw, It will not look like exactly how I want. The only thing I can do with that is be humble and continue to draw.

Q:) You seem to draw a lot of anime and human characters too! Are ponies easier or harder to handle than those? Do you enjoy drawing one over the other more?

Ponies are much easier to draw because they don't have hands and feet, and their bodies are not as flexible as humans are. However, I'm taking it serious too. I can’t choose just one thing, I like to draw ponies and people alike.

Q:) You’ve also drawn a bunch of Fallout Equestria based stuff, which is something we see a lot from Russian artists. Is there a pretty big following for it over there? Or are you just a fan?

Fallout: Equestria is a great fanfic. I'm a fan who has read just one volume.

Q:) Socks, sweaters, silly hats, swimwear, full body armor, ponies have worn it all. What is your favorite accessory to draw ponies in?

I draw ponies with accessories rarely. But most often is armor. I can’t say I like to draw it, but the end result looks good I think.

Q:) What do you like most about Friendship is Magic? What keeps you drawing so many awesome ponies?

I like the nature of the characters. Everypony has a personality. Even the background characters. Honestly, I don’t know. I just want to keep drawing ponies.

Q:) Do you have any tips for newbie artists looking to improve?

Young artist must spend enough time to learn anatomy and perspective, despite the fact that it's a CG show, they need to know the classical canons of drawing. However, if people have a desire to create something new and to become better, I'm sure such people will achieve a lot, they just need to have a desire.

Q:) Why do you think My little Pony Generation 4 has been so successful? What keeps you here involved in the community?

MLP is a daily life with elements of fantasy. This is the perfect genre as for me. Also people were familiar with this fandom before. I think restarting the old franchise has attracted a lot of attention. This TV series had all the chances to become popular, and it did.
