Wow, you all really went all out this year. We've got a whopping 283 finalized submissions for Ponies Around the World in 2018, so to avoid blowing people's computers up with all this crazy resolution photography, we will have three days to celebrate like last year!
We've got ponies at pretty much every location imaginable, from the middle of the ocean to exotic locales around the world. Everywhere except the moon. Who wants to send a pony to the moon? Do it.

Picture taken in the Square of Five Wells in Zadar, Croatia. The wells are actually cisterns, but they looked good enough for a photo. Dash is standing on the closest one. I know she's small barely visible, but I couldn't see it on the camera's screen while I was still there, and by the time I realized I should have been standing a few steps closer to the wells while taking the picture, I was already away.

Snowdrop is looking at (technically, listening to Twilight) the less seen part of Bangkok, west side of the Chao Phraya River, known as Thonburi. Here you can also see 3 of our newest suspension bridges in Bangkok, Bhumibol bridge 1&2, and Kanchanaphisek bridge. Since Bhumibol bridge 1 crosses from Bangkok to Samut Prakan province, they are looking there as well, in the direction of Suvarnabhumi Airport (It's not in Bangkok!).

This time I took a photo of Twilight in front of another monument not too far from my house, the Bangsal Struggle Monument. This is a monument to commemorate the struggle of the Balinese people for Indonesia's independence in the 1940s. The building where it stands today has a secret underground base that was used by the Balinese youths and heroes during the Japanese occupation to held secret meetings and made strategies to attack the Japanese and the NICA troops.

96 Fluttershy at Big Spring Creek Falls, Washington - Flutterbatty
I hiked in with my 45-inch lifesize Fluttershy plush to Big Spring Creek Falls, in southwest Washington. What you see in the back is merely the upper tier–there are two other tiers, the middle and lower. The lower tier is the most well known by passerby's on the road, but the middle and upper tiers are known and visited by only a handful of people.
This falls is very remote, some 30 miles up into the mountains, away from the nearest town, and up a gravel road. The waterfall is not signed; you must watch your mile markers and watch for a bend in the road to find this falls. The trail to the upper tier is unsigned, but as long as you know that the trail is there, you should have no problem finding the two upper tiers.
I brought her up in the fall season, just as the Western Larches were turning bright yellow. (W. Larch is a Pacific Northwest pine tree species that turns color and looses it's leaves in the fall.)
Will be in the Equestria: Into the Wild PATW film.

The Painted Hills are located in the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in eastern Oregon. I hiked the short Overlook Trail to take a timelapse for my PATW film; and ended up getting this shot at "sunrise!" (no sunrise because of the clouds, but made for an interesting photo nevertheless!)
I was planning on using a pink fluffy pillow for her to sit on, but I ended up finding a nice sturdy, clean sagebrush plant to put her on instead.
This was part of a series of 7 day hikes I did in the monument over the course of a 5 day camping trip. The Painted Hills will be included in the Equestria: Into the Wild PATW film!
