A while back, Gameloft released an Augmented Reality patch for the My Little Pony game, allowing you to project your favorite cartoon horses into whatever weird situation you wanted. Unfortunately, it was extremely limited on what devices it could actually use the tech on, so it was largely forgotten.
Google's ARCore has popped up an update (the program it's dependant on) that unlocks a ton of devices. Now you can probably do it if you couldn't previously.
