Get ready to roll for initiative, for the Official My Little Pony RPG Tails of Equestria has FINALLY released their latest sourcebook in the United States! Which is a good thing since this is the book which opens up the game for stories set outside of Equestria!

The book kicks off these new expansion for storytelling game play with a new prewritten adventure entitled "The Beast of Black Skull Island." Hmmm. That name sound familiar. I wonder where I've heard it before…
The expansion also contains a plethora of new material. Let's start with one small thing, and you'll like this one a lot! There are rules to further customize your characters, like for faction reputation and for obtaining a personal vehicle! Plus there are character stats for the wonderfully roguish personalities who were featured in the film! Some of these stats and descriptions will really open up your eyes to see the world from where they stand.
But of course you player characters will meet new friends that want to help out too, so there are guidelines for creating new playable characters for 4 non-pony races. If you've seen the movie, it should come as no surprise as to what these 4 player races are. Though it has been said one of them is the friend that you need.
