On the date of the Autumn Equinox, the "Moon Festival" happens over in Asia, and with it came a pony display. Oddly enough, they chose Cadance instead of Luna as their mascot for the party. Seems like a missed opportunity to me!
Apparently it included moon cake, moon lanterns, other snacks, decorations, and merchandise.

Some really special covers here! First up FritzyBeat has written and sung some gorgeous Moondancer-themed lyrics over the top of ertrii's lovely instrumental piece 'Maybe'. ertrii's original tune was a beautiful experience, and Fritzy's vocals help take it to another level. The second track is a melancholy acoustic cover of Catchy Song by SDreamExplorerS, making awesome use of some great vocals from Chi-Chi. The tone is a fair bit different to the original, but it works excellently. Check them both out below!

It seems like online sites everywhere have started listing early sales for the My Little Pony Movie tickets next month. Some major ones include:

Fandango for pretty much everywhere
This does not include European cinemas, though Germany has a ton of early showings as we announced last night.
Time to get those tickets for meetups regardless!

Ponies At Dawn are back again with another massive album from a huge number of artists from the community's music scene. This one is especially cool in that it also features the option of purchasing physical CDs of the songs from the album! With artists like 4EverfreeBrony, PrinceWhateverer, Black Gryph0n, Jyc Row, The Wasteland Wailers, Silva Hound, Aurelleah, Exiark, John Kenza and heaps more, there's plenty to get excited about. You can check out the live release party over at PonyvilleFM at 7:30 PM UTC/3:30 PM EDT on September 29th, and the album is currently available to pre-order on bandcamp here, but otherwise check out a full preview of the album and some extra info below the break!

It's been a long day and it's time for ponies to sleep! Thank you all for participating in our Sunset Shimmer Day today. Our next day is on October 7th, a day after the pony movie release and with Pinkie Pie of all ponies! What a great time to celebrate, huh?
