MetalPony brings something right from the heart here, with a heavy metal ode to the fandom and what it's done for him. I think a lot of us can relate to a lot of the lyrics here, and it helps that they're combined with a pretty awesome instrumental full of pulsating guitar tones and aggressive percussion. The combination of clean and more scream-like vocals is quite reminiscent of Prince's style, so if you like that you'll certainly like this! Give it a listen below the break!

It's always the elegant ones that end up as duelists isn't it? The look certainly does suit her though I must admit, though I think swordplay is a bit out of Rarity's skill range.

Show Song Remixes! Daniel Ingram - Best Friends Until The End Of Time (Delta Brony Remix) [Chiptune House] / Daniel Ingram - Battle Of The Bands (Shadowcat Remix) [Drum & Bass]
by ExplodingPonyToastSome remixes of show songs here! First up Delta Brony gives us a Sega Genesis-inspired remix of the song from the start of season 7, Best Friends Until The End Of Time. It's full of chiptune-styled sounds that fit with the overall upbeat mood of the original song, and the vocals come through appreciably clearly too. The second one is a remix of the Battle song from Rainbow Rocks, one of my favourites. Here Shadowcat has given it a pretty ambient intro, before diving into some super smooth drum & bass. Grab them both below the break!

It's been a while, but StealingShad3Z is back with a new track about the mane 6. Titled battlegrounds, the name is more a reference to the lyricism than the tone of the piece, which is pretty laid back for the most part, though the percussion helps move the track along quite nicely. Shad3Z's vocals are the stand out feature as usual from his solo pieces, with the instrumental built well around them. Give it a listen below the break for some cool rock stuff!

The pony train has arrived again, and while I slept off Babscon's cuisine and reminded myself that I write for this site, Season Seven premiered last Saturday. We've had numerous shakeups on the writing staff over the hiatus, and one of those placements was Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco revealed as the writers of the premiere episodes, as well as the story editors for Season Seven.
After seeing the premiere, I'm confident in this season despite some worrying losses. Let's talk about why Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco are the future for pony after the break.

Trixie's... unique line at the end of the All Bottled Up has caused quite a bit of debate throughout the fandom these last few days. While the odds of it actually going anywhere are pretty low, it's still fun to discuss.
Many a cartoon company has started moving in a more progressive direction with the same-sex issue now that pushing that social boundary is becoming the "Cool" thing to do in the entertainment world. We already got plenty of Lyra and Bonbon furthering it, but would they ever fully cross the line? And with more commonplace characters at that? They seem to avoid engaging the mane 6 in any kind of romantic relationship, but side characters regularly get the canon ship treatment.
So, what do you think? Should Trixie and Glimmy, or any pair of characters, freak out corporate America?

Orchestral Music: Radiarc - Lonely Breeze / A Symphony Of Two - El Bocadillo De Queso
by ExplodingPonyToastOrchestral music yet again! Here though we have two well established artists trying out something they don't really do very often. First up Radiarc brings a change from his often dark and solemn style to deliver a more uplifting and blissfully calm experience. The strings have some lovely depth and emotion to them, and it definitely sounds like he's done a beautiful job with something he's less familiar with. The second piece is especially unique sounding, with a Spanish-style orchestral piece based around Cheese Sandwich. It starts normally enough, before the awesome rhythm kicks in. It's a pretty groovy piece of music, and always nice to hear something different. Give them both a listen below!

Crazy foam? I haven't heard that name in forever. Or maybe I'm thinking of something completely different. I feel like this is something revived from my childhood though.
These are over at Amazon found by Scarlett, and we have tons of other stuff below! Go get it!
