FaceRig Pony Skin

I know Fluttershy, I'm excited too.

The Humble Bundle is happening again and this time there's a nifty program in there called FaceRig. It maps your face and then gives you a puppet that blinks and moves according to your movements. How is this related to pony you ask? Well, there's a piece of DLC for FaceRig called Live 2d. Live2d allows you to use flat images as a puppet rather than a 3d image. And thanks to the Steam Workshop, some lovely folks have added pony skins! There are currently three skins available, and I get the impression making your own Live2d skins isn't too tricky to pull off. 

So get out there and live your pony dreams! Or just amuse your friends. And let's see if we can't add some main six skins too!

Another New Guardians of Harmony Reveal for the MLP Movie - Rainbow Dash and her Zeppelin

 Zeppelins! How many years have I been asking for this?! How many times have I headered Drawfriend with a badass image of ponies skypirating around on zepplins while begging for it in the show? This movie has me so hype now. It's everything I ever wanted.

Anyway, another toy that fell through the cracks at Toy Fair has been revealed. It looks to be a Rainbow Dash themed zepplin, though an image of the actual Dashie isn't here. I think she might be in the back. You can see little hoof holders on the top and middle of it, hinting that ponies can cling to various parts.

This will be a Walmart Exclusive.

Derpy and Trixie Join Equestria Girls Mini in New Mall Series on Amazon, Plus Stock Images on Switch n' Mix Packs

Toy Fair may have revealed a bunch of stuff from the Equestria Girls Mini lineup this year, but I don't think they had a lot of these. A new "Mall Series" of figures includes a bunch of interesting designs for existing characters, along with new characters that haven't been minified yet.

At the moment, they don't have a release date, but they are up and listed on Amazon. We will let you all know when they become available!

Music: Celestial Throne - A Tale Of The Frustrated Housemare (feat. Elias Frost) [Folk Metal]

Celestial Throne is a rock musician who's been around for a while, but this is definitely one of the best pieces I've heard from them so far! Featuring the vocal talents of regular feature Elias Frost, the piece focuses about the many pains Cadance has to go through as a princess, mother and husband. There's some great guitar-work and the folk-y feel to it is very much appreciated. Give it a listen below the break!

Two New Books on Amazon - Winning Style and

Amazon has two new pony books listed, one with lots of information and a release last week, and another with almost no information releasing way later in the year.

Winning Style looks to be an activity book with a mini story based around Lightning Dust and Rainbow Dash.  It's only 24 pages and part of the pre-school series we've posted a few times.

The other book titled "MLP Party Book: Friendship Festival" is a brand new listing coming out in September with absolutely no information on it other than it's 64 page count. I'm sure we will see it appear later in the year, but for now it's a mystery.

Giant Infographic Analyzes the Population of Ponies on the Show

I never realized this show had SO MANY PONIES. Someone going by the name of Timothy has analyzed every single episode and dug out all the different ponies, from backgrounders to major ones. With this knowledge, he has created an infographic showing off gender data, races, ages, and an entire chart listing every character.

I'm actually pretty surprised at that male to female ratio. It's actually pretty even all things considered.

Music: Sonic Hooves - Whisper Of The Wind [Piano]

I go through a lot of music in my life, and whilst I do of course love hearing all the fancy stuff people are able to put together, sometimes it's just nice to relax and listen to something that's about as stripped back as it gets. Piano music like this, no bells and whistles, not even recorded especially well, just played from the heart with obvious skill and passion, is one of the simple pleasures in life.
