Hello, last year I sent you guys the 2016 edition of NeoGAF's MLP episode guide, and we prepared a 2017 edition. Last year's was an image collection, but in order to get this ready before the movie, we unfortunately didn't have time for that. However, I was able to prepare a text version, with the completed images linked where appropriate. Links below.

There are some pretty major changes from the 2016 version, notably:
* Every episode now has notes saying what people liked or disliked about the episode, favoring the former.
* Every episode with a song now says so.
* In addition to recommended episodes, there are now listings of recommended songs, from non-recommended episodes.
* Introduction completely rewritten, notably to account for people starting the series after watching the movie.
* "What is Equestria Girls?", Season 6, and Season 7 sections added. Also an under construction Online Shorts section.
* "Winter Wrap Up" and "Party Pooped" are no longer recommended, though the song "Winter Wrap Up" is now recommended.
* "The Ticket Master" and "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?" are now recommended.

The Friendship Zone Series Trailer

This being not only the sixth day of an even-numbered month (thus a day to celebrate an Element of Harmony), it is also the day the MLP Movie gets wide release in Canada (and many other places)! Double holiday! So I frankensteined a delicious berry shortcake custard cake with some blue and white whipping cream and an edible drawing of fish Rainbow Dash. I had two servings. The swag was awarded to my co-workers by means of a draw.

Tonight's Successful Meetups
Successful meetup - Mother Miguel Mountain
A small group of bronies, including the brony taking the picture, hiked up Mother Miguel Mountain in Eastern Chula Vista. The hike to the peak was over two miles long, and more than a thousands feet of elevation gain. We were rewarded with a view that stretched into Baja California, the Pacific Ocean, and north towards La Jolla.

The Philly Bronies went and saw the My Little Pony Movie this weekend together. We almost didn’t get in because the theater was sold out! Luckily the theater was able to accommodate us. We all have the movie 2 hooves up! We then went back our usual spot at Drexel University where watched the new episode together which we also loved! We finished off the day hanging out and playing games together. It was a truly amazing day.

Successful San Diego movie meetup
Saturday night, October 7th, more than two dozen bronies gathered at AMC Mission Valley 20 to watch the movie. Much enjoyment was had. We look forward to meeting many of them again at the upcoming Video Games & Ponies meetup and other future events.

POINTLESS PONIES UPDATE: 12 DAYS LEFT!
Fillies and Gentlecolts,
There are 12 days left until the survey closes for this edition of "Pointless Ponies" to be played at Ponyville Ciderfest on Friday, October 20th at 2pm at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee in the Caramel Room (Lakeshore C). Right now, if I get an average of five respondents per day going forward, then we will have 100 respondents for the survey!
I am also going to give you tips on some of the questions. For question 4, I'm looking for characters who headlined at least one edition of the Friends Forever comic series. If you have not read the comics, then just guess by typing some characters down. Chances are, you'll be right on at least one of them. I cannot give clues that lead to specific answers, so you'll have to figure that one out on your own. Again, you can find a lot of the answers on mlp.wikia.com.
This week, I plan on getting the prizes for "Pointless Ponies". There will be prizes for participants of the game and for winning the game. If the winning team can come up with a Pointless Answer (a correct answers that 0 people came up with) in the bonus round, then they will win a movie-themed prize in excess of $35 in value! There also might be prizes for people in the crowd. Details on that later.
Again, your participation in this survey is important to the success of the show at Ponyville Ciderfest and greatly appreciated. It will take at most 15 minutes to complete.

Pointless Ponies Update: One Week Left
Fillies and Gentlecolts,
Hope you enjoy the MLP Movie this weekend. I sure did! In the meantime, I have mentioned that all prizes I give away at Ponyville Ciderfest in two weeks (Hyatt Regency Milwaukee) for both "Pointless Ponies" and "Las Pegasus Gambit" will be tied to the movie. In order for "Pointless Ponies" to work, I need more survey participants for my survey:

I have had 45 respondents as of noon ET on October 6th. I would like at least 55 more before next Friday. I'll help you along the way with some of the questions.
1) Self-explanatory. If that member of the Apple Family has been mentioned and/or seen on the show. That is a correct answer.
2) Also self-explanatory. If that character on the show make his or her first appearance in a two-part episode (i.e. "Friendship Is Magic," "The Return of Harmony," "A Canterlot Wedding," "The Crystal Empire," "Twilight's Kingdom," etc.) that is a correct answer.
3) Some characters are just have one name. Others have two (including three members of the Mane Six). I am looking for those characters who have two names.
4) Some of you have not read the comics. You know how the map has called a pair of characters to a Friendship Mission? It extends beyond that and think of two sets of characters you normally see together on the show. That may help with this question.
5) I'm just looking for episodes on the show.Equestria Girls and the Movie do not count.
6) If you see all six members of the Mane Six in the episode whether all of them have speaking roles or not, then that episode is a correct answer.
Questions 7-9 have their own instructions. However, pay attention to the number of blanks in Question 9. One blank equals one word.
Alternatively, the answers to these questions can be found at mlp.wikia.com.
For all questions, you have 100 seconds to come up with as many answers as possible. That's part of the game and part of the surveys.
