Nightmare Nights is a few months away, but they already have a massive charity auction going on for 2017. Head on down below the break for the details!
If you haven't heard the news, Nightmare Nights is coming to an end after 2017. So for our grand finale, we've got something special to share, coming to our Charity Auction.
Project: Harmonize is an 11x14 hardcover sketchbook featuring artists with all sorts of skill levels and personal styles, both fan-artists and seasoned professionals. This truly one of a kind item involves fantastic creators from all over the world creating something special together! What will be auctioned is the sketchbook itself, containing many original drawings. Not reproductions or reprints, but the originals, making this a truly priceless piece of My Little Pony fandom. And there are over 60 sketches already in the book, with more being added.
Project: Harmonize is being led by the artist and comic illustrator LeekFish, one of our 2016 Guests of Honor, and will be auctioned off at the Nightmare Nights Charity Auction. Our benefactor, for the fifth year in a row, is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. benefitting children suffering from catastrophic illness and their families. We've raised over $40,000 for St. Jude since 2013, and we're hoping to raise a whole lot more this year. More details for Project: Harmonize will be coming out over the next few weeks on social media, so check out the Twitter and Tumblr for the project!
We'll have plenty of other items at our Charity Auction, which you can find out more information about on our Charity page. On site charity auction item donations can be made before noon on Saturday at Dealer Ops. Don't forget to pick up your badge at a discounted rate until the convention to attend our Charity Auction, and reserve your room at the Crowne Plaza Addison using the code MLP for a discount. You can also volunteer to help a few hours each day in exchange for a free badge. And lastly, our panel submissions are still open for just one more week, until September 9th, so get those panels in before we lock down the schedule!
Thank you to all of our fans and attendees for being the best fans and attendees ever! We're excited to send off Nightmare Nights with all of you. The con is less than two months away, so stay tuned for more information, and follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr (and turn on mobile notifications) for more updates!
