D.A.R.E. Program Toy Fund Raisers (MLP Grab Bags included)
"The D.A.R.E. program (www.DARE.org) is running nationwide fundraiser booths due to federal funding being cut. I discovered this by happening across one at a local T.G.I.Friday's. Per the individuals running the booth, there are similar booths throughout the US raising money for the program by selling toys and/or taking donations. For $10 dollars, you can get a MLP Pop Out Grab Bag (among other things) or donate the money to buy a toy donation for a child in need, (or do both plus you get a receipt for your tax deduction).

Tonight's Successful Meetups
Bronies aboard Miramar - Successful meetup
At former "Fightertown U.S.A." a small group bronies went aboard MCAS Miramar to attend the Miramar Air Show. Their they toured the static displays and watched the air show, including the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels. One surprise was that one of the group met up with buddies from his old unit 4th Tank Battalion, USMC.

POINTLESS PONIES UPDATE: Past the Quarter Pole
Fillies and Gentlecolts,
The good news is that we're past the quarter pole for the "Pointless Ponies" survey. However, that means there are three more poles to the goal of at least 100 respondents. The goal is to get at least 100 respondents for the survey before October 13th so I can play "Pointless Ponies" at Ponyville Ciderfest at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee on Friday, October 20th at 2pm in the Caramel Room (Lakeshore C).
I have heard feedback that there were some questions that are giving people trouble. There is a question on the comics and you can go to mlp.wikia.com and the comic book section and find the Friends Forever page and the answers for that question will be there. There are plenty of answers on the MLP Wiki and don't hesitate to look them up.
Again, all prizes for "Pointless Ponies" will be Movie swag including the grand prize which will be over $35 in value.
Again, your participation in this survey is important to the success of the show at Ponyville Ciderfest and greatly appreciated. It will take at most 15 minutes to complete.
