Pointless Ponies Update: Sweetening the Pot
Bronies,
With under six weeks to go until Ponyville Ciderfest (October 20-22 at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee), I have decided to sweeten the pot once more prizes.
I have already promised that if I can get at least 100 respondents to each of the five sets of questions, then the prize(s) for the winning team will be in excess of $25 in value. That winning team does go to the Pointless Final where I once gave away cash prizes if they could get a pointless answer (one where out of 100 people surveyed, 100 people did not think of). So for the Pointless Final, the prizes(s) will be over $30 in value AND will be related to the Movie! So for teams, there is a chance to win in excess of $55 in prizes on Friday, October 20th at 2pm in the Caramel Room (Lakeshore C)!

Another POINTLESS PONIES UPDATE
Fillies and Gentlecolts,
It has come to my attention that my approach to these survey questions for "Pointless Ponies" has not come off well. In fact, some have called it 'intimidating.' With that in mind, I have combined some of the previous questions and created a single survey.

The first six questions have multiple answers to them and you have 100 seconds to come up with as many answers as you can. After 100 seconds, the survey will automatically direct you to the next page and question. Please feel free to look up information on places like the MLP Wiki. Otherwise, just come up with the first few answers that come to mind.
Questions 7-9 are six-part questions. Each part has one answer. You still have 100 seconds to complete these questions. Again, you can look up the answers on the MLP Wiki or someplace else.
At most, this survey will take you 15 minutes from start to finish.
I'm also streamlining the offer for Ponyville Ciderfest (October 20-22 at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee) for which "Pointless Ponies" will take place on Friday, October 20th, at 2pm in the Caramel Room (Lakeshore C).

Background Pony Print
Yes, this is the Background Pony print. There are many people that have already expressed interest in it, and I am ready to provide it. As gathering funds has become somewhat of a challenge, I am opening a campaign where you can fund the printing yourself.
The end goal is the minimum for the print to go through, as it has been negotiated with the publisher. You can contribute after it is met, no problem.
Short Summary
The book will be cloth-bound, with cover elements embossed on it in silver. It is split in two tomes of 550 pages each, set on 60x90 1/16 (220x150 mm) 80g paper. Due to high cost of color printing required by the story, a B&W version will also be available, with colored elements replaced by analogous typeset representations.

Risks & Challenges
I live in Russia. We love books here, and that's why I've started this in first place. But, as Russia is currently not at best terms with the rest of the world, a lot of organization-related things have been very hard to make right. Right now, I hope that we'll be able to make it. Las Pegasus unicon 2013
Las Pegasus Unicon was a My Little Pony convention that took place February 22-24, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada; it was hyped up to be a great event even 10 celebrities from the show staff would be there. However on Sunday the convention had run out of cash. Which was closed early and had everyone stressed out. It would be an experience that would continue to affect other Brony conventions to this very day.
