We've got another group wanting to get some details on fandom for some research, this time on the topic of spiritual identity! Get the details below.
Research project on spiritual identity
I am a researcher at St Thomas University, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, and am working on a project on spiritual identity - exploring what spirituality means to people, their spiritual journey, and the difference it makes in their lives. I would like to talk to anyone who sees being Brony as a spiritual activity/path/orientation. This is an exploratory study, seeking to understand how people come to their spiritual identity. I have ethics board approval from the University.
Interviews can be done completely anonymously if you wish, and all information will be confidential. I am based in Atlantic Canada, so interviews will likely be done via Skype, telephone, or Discord.
