Philly Bronies Season 7 Party!
The Philly Bronies got together to hang out and celebrate the Season 7 premiere! We all meet up at the Drexel Creese Student Center where we watched the season premiere, discussed the premiere and what we expected to see in Season 7, played Twilight Sparkle's Secret Shipfic Folder, and rewatched some old episodes. We also raffled off a Discord Guardians of Harmony Figure, a Season 5 DVD, and some blind bags. Altogether a wonderful way to start off the season!

Perth bronies season 7 premiere meet
The bronies of Perth, Western Australia had a meet up Saturday evening to stream the season 7 premiere later at 11:30pm. It was a fun night of laughs, pizza, Youtube pony vids and cake. The episodes were enjoyable and everyone laughed at Celestia being At her most humorous.
Also, I had a go at baking a cake this time. Turns out fondant is hard to work with, so if you're wondering why Glimmer looks like an ink drawing that was violently smudged, it's because it's my first time ;)
South Australian Bronies
On Sunday 16 April, the South Australian Bronies held the Season 7 premiere at the Gilbert Street hotel in Adelaide. It was a fun afternoon to see new and old friends, have lunch and visit the shops around the city for pony and anime merchandise. Writer's Training Grounds FimFiction group now public looking for writers!
ScifiPony's Writer's Training Ground is now open to continue the tradition of Equestria Daily's by-gone feature of the same name. This new WTG is a web destination where you can go to find writing ideas and deadlines to spur you on to finish your stories. It will be updated weekly with challenging writing prompts based on the episode (and some punditry). New posts will occur in the evening after an episode airs. The first prompts are already up for the season opener, Celestial Advice. Please come by and check it out! An update to the post later in the week will highlight submissions. The Writer's Training Ground is a FimFiction group, a type of Internet meeting place, constructed on the FimFiction website. I'm a musician and songwriter seeking a co-writer, particularly someone experienced in writing lyrics, who is interested in writing some original MLP songs. My aim is to put together some one-off songs in a range of different styles, from jazz to ballads to Broadway to music hall.
A co-writer with instrumental knowledge is preferred but not required. While I've primarily handled composition and orchestration (rather than lyrics) for MLP songs in the past, I'm flexible as to how we share musical and lyrical duties or whether we each handle one half of the equation. Seeds of Harmony [Pen and Paper RPG]
I'm quite proud to announce that i made a Pen and Paper RPG based on MLP, who took me 4 years to write down and test with some other friends of mine.
The game uses a fantasy setting who tries to mantain the lore seen in the show, plus the comics, even if is it's expanded to give the player more action or option to explore around (so is basically the Show Lore, expanded/modifcated with non canon stuff).
The game allows a huge character customization and also allows the player to create a character how they prefer, since it does not uses a restricted Class System, but instead a system based on feats that allows to pick whatever you prefer. There are obviously restrictions and stuff, but there is more freedon on what you want for your character, isntead to give a simple list or a table and that's all.
There are a total of 9 playable races: Earth Pony, Donkey, Griffin, Minotaur, Mule, Night Pegasus, Pegasus, Unicorn and Zebra.
Since the setting is placed only 200 years after the Nightmare Moon banishment, there are no Crystal Ponies.
The first thing that i want to point out is the core game is based on Anthropomirfic Races (Anthro, not Furries. I'm not into that stuff) , since they fit better the concept to hold items with hands, and for the combat, but still, there are the rules (Pony Edition) who allows to play with normal ponies as seen in the show. The rules to play as a normal pony (or else) are few, since they change only rules for races and some mechanics, like combat and spell casting, but you still need the core rules to play.
Unfortunately, since i'm italian, the complete rules and manuals are in italian, but i'm translating them as quickly as i can (and boy that's a lot of work for a single person). On my tumbrl http://velgarn.tumblr.com/ i've already uploaded a reduced ruleset, character sheets and pre-made character translated in english, and now i'm translating the reduced Bestiary and Adventure Compendium (who has the traps, loot and stuff like that).
The second thing is that the game is easy to understand and learn for those who already have played other rpg games, like D&D or Pathfinder, but mine use a custom system based both on d20 and d100. Also is't a game made keeping in mind that it's made for "mature" people. Even if there is not much difference from other classic RPGs like D&D and else, i would always prefer to point out that. For example in rpgs characters will get injuried and can also die, so is not "Sugar Coated" like Tails of Equestria where characters will simply faint and that's all. Obviously that does not mean that there are extreme content inside, not at all, but just to clarify that as in other games, the character can die.
The third thing that i want to point out that this is a huge project that i almost made by myself (so i wrote more than 500 pages of rules and lore) and the game is absolutely Free to Play, so there are no kickstarters, patreons and stuff like that. Because that's not how you Generosity.
I'm looking for people with experience in rpgs who want to help me translating the rest of the manual from Italian to English, if they want (even proof reading).

Pony 411 Episode 175 - Rug Pull
