Tim Stuby
Tim Stuby is an animator and director who grew up in Akron, Ohio but chose to leave the safe confines of the United States to venture north to Vancouver, BC where he went to school for animation. He cleverly deduced that a career in the arts would earn him substantially more money and fame than his other option of going to law school. He also likes long walks on the beach, the sweet soft sounds of Air Supply and cheese. Even the blue kind.
He’s worked on a bunch of TV shows but who are we kidding. Nobody reading this cares about Kid vs Kat, Littlest Pet Shop, Tales from the Far Side, Fractured Fairy Tales or Fetch with Ruff Ruffman. Getting to the point, he’s worked on every season of MLP so far starting with actual real life animation on Season 1 all the way to directing on Season 6 and 7.
Denny Lu
Denny Lu is a director, animator, graphic designer and illustrator in Vancouver BC. He was originally from Taiwan. In his 23 years in Canada, he learned a new language, English, completed graphic design and classic animation diplomas, did his time as chef’s assistant in a college cafeteria, and explored many BC camping, swimming and hiking places. Before he directed "My Little Pony" season 5, 6 and 7, he directed an Emmy nominated PBS web series "Plum Landing". He has also worked as the animator director for MLP season 1, 2 and 3, Equestria Girls DVD1, Looped, Kid vs Kat, Being Ian, Pucca, and George of the Jungle during his 15 years at DHX Media.
