Newbie Artist Training Grounds VI: Day 25
by Calpain
Even reading the title for tonight's header I have no real idea what is going on. Math was never my strong suit but I do admire what you can do with it. And speaking of admire, I'm in admiration of you guys for sticking to the ATG right up to the end! We're less than a week away from the end and just a few days away from the 'closing ceremony' style prompts. It's been a lot of fun to share this journey with you guys for this ATG and proud to see your progress and enthusiasm!
With that enthusiasm we've tallied up another 103 ponies bringing us up to 4931 ponies! Ooo, we are so close to 5000 I can almost taste it. Are you guys ready to break it tonight with today's prompt? As we start to wind down this year's ATG I've got another one you can take as simply or as complicated as you want: draw a surprised pony/draw a pony facing the unexpected. Find your submitter here.
!!Very Important Notice!!
I was informed a couple nights ago of a special opportunity that any of you in the ATG can participate in but it's for this prompt only so listen up. The Create A Card Contest by Enterplay has shown interest in the ATG and has chosen this prompt as an opportunity for you guys to create something new, regardless of your level of skill, and submit it to Enterplay for the chance of it being turned into a card!
Pretty neat huh? If you want to participate check on after the break for details along with our gallery! If the event isn't your thing, feel free to treat this as any other prompt and just have fun!

I've always loved the designs of the griffons, ever since Gilda and Greta did not disappoint when she showed up in Griffonstone.
Evening my friends! Let's get to it!

Ratings Arrive for Buckball Season!
by Calpain
A little late in the week for this but ratings are in for Buckball Season! As with the past few episodes, Buckball is staying the course as it pulls in 204,000 viewers, down from Dungeons and Discords at 277,000 viewers but still within range of 28 Pranks Later's 203,000 viewers.
So still some jumping around but the range seems to have narrowed at bit at least and nothing below 200,000 at least so let's hope things keep up!

I've gone through and added about 40 videos total to all of the Best of Brony Archives:
Best of Brony Animation Archives
Best of Brony PMV Archives
Best of Brony SFM /3D Animation Archives
Feel free to spread the word on those. They took a lot of work, and are an awesome resource for anyone looking for some nostalgia or new people looking to find the best the brony fandom has to offer. Hopefully they will be helpful long into the future!
These archives will still continue to be updated, but at this point we have no submissions left for them. Feel free to dive in and see if we missed any.
Currently we are seeking recommendations on what to archive next in best of brony. What would you like to see us archive next?

Daniel Ingram Discusses Legends of Everfree, My Little Pony Movie, and More in New Interview
by Sethisto
The Westender over in Vancouver decided to grab Daniel Ingram for a quick interview on all things cartoon music composing. They dive into a few things involving music in general, but the majority of the interview involves pony. He talks about the planned live orchestra for the movie, along with a plug about the upcoming Legends of Everfree, which is apparently his favorite.
Go check it out over here!
Thanks to Andrew for the heads up!

Sony is expanding on it's "A Pony Kind of Christmas" release from last year with an extended version including all five of the songs from "Hearth's Warming Tail" in glorious high definition. No more will we need to rely on random "Ok" quality rips of Luna being amazing or Glimglam's villainy.
This one drops on the 7th of October and includes everything from last year's release, plus the new stuff. It actually has a physical release this time around that includes a poster.
Head on over here to pre-order it!
Thanks to Jason, Andrew, and Feather data for sending it.

Something interesting coming out of a stall over in Mexico City. Someone at market in a place called Iztapalapa is creating ceramic versions of the mane 6. Apparently someone is busting these out pretty regularly, as other stalls were spotted carrying the same ones.
We don't have any indication that they have any kind of actual official permission, but if you happen to be over in Mexico City, keep an eye out for some if you want them!
Thanks to Don for the heads up.

From his massive Super Pony World album released earlier this year, Vylet brings a track called 'The Replacer'. Featuring a mixture of bright synths, engaging vocals and a catchy chorus progression, this is probably one of the most mainstream-feeling tracks from the album. There's even a bit of chiptune influence present, so if that's the kind of thing that interests you, make sure to check it out.

Morning Discussion #612
by Calpain
It can kind of suck being the person that fixes stuff because since it is such a rare commodity your skill set is really in demand.
Morning guys! Chat time?

Nightly Roundup #1364
by Calpain
You know when I first heard the synopsis for this episode I wasn't quite sure how they were going pull it off considering we don't think of Flutters and Pinkie as being into sports, but they really made it work naturally I must say!
News time guys, get it after the break!
