I think Applebuck Season was the first episode of pony that really showed me how crazy a show about little pastel horses could be. I look back fondly on that little episode all these years later.

With the Artist Training Ground in less than a week I thought I'd give a reminder to people who saw or even missed out first post some days ago. You can find the gist of things over on that first page so go and check it out!
Now that the event is so close here's what you need to know about submitting pictures so that you can get an appropriate gallery set up in time for the event!
Also to address a question I saw a lot in the comments of the last post: OCs are welcome it doesn't need to be canon ponies. Other species from the MLP universe are welcome too, so feel free to draw dragons, zebras, gryphons, yaks, timberwolves, Breezies, donkeys, Equestria Girls style characters, anthro, ect as long as you feel comfortable drawing them for the day's prompt.
Also, images must be Safe for work!
Finally, all skill levels are welcome from those who have never drawn before up to those who have been drawing for several years. All are welcome to participate!

If you've been to a convention over on the east cost, you may have run into Bonnie Zacherle. She's the original mind behind My Little Pony way back in the 80's. With the sudden re-interest thanks to Friendship is Magic, she has created a book talking about the history behind how it happened, in 30 full color pages.

The UK is playing host to yet another Friendship Tour, where a bus travels around the country with pony related activities for kids, while showing off various pony toys that are releasing or have released recently. This one is covering everything from the books to the giant Crystal Empire Playset.

Parties are about to get more pony. The Twilight Sparkle balloon up above was found in a town called Glina in Croatia. When convered over to USD, she cost only $7, which is pretty standard for that style of balloon.
As for when or if she will ever take a trip over to other countries, I guess we will just have to keep our eyes peeled!
