Congratulations to the Top 8 players at the MLP:CCG 2016 European Continental Championships! It looks like a deck starring the one and only Applejack, Apple Vendor Mane from Canterlot Nights took the top spot, overtaking Princess Twilights, a Pinkie Pie, and a couple other Applejacks that couldn't quite keep up at GalaCon last weekend. Congrats to Marius for the win!
The winning strategies at this event just might have a big impact on the upcoming North American Continentals coming at Gen Con later this week, so head over here to check out the decklists for the Top 8 players.
And thanks to acholt22 on the MLP:CCG community subreddit, we have these links to see visual rundowns of the cards in each deck:
- SÖREN H. A. - Pinkie Pie, Ambassador of Laughter
- MARCO W. - Princess Twilight Sparkle, Ambassador of Friendship
- ANIKA P. - Princess Twilight Sparkle, Ambassador of Friendship
- MARIUS S. - Applejack, Apple Vendor
- SIMON H. - Applejack, Ambassador of Honesty
- CHRISTOPHER S. - Princess Twilight Sparkle, Ambassador of Friendship
- KORA K. - Princess Twilight Sparkle, Ambassador of Friendship

Story: Why Don't You Tell Them
by Calpain
[Slice of Life]
Author: Titanium Dragon
Description: In the days after her ascension, every newspaper in Equestria is talking about how Princess Celestia transformed Twilight Sparkle into an alicorn princess. There's just one problem – Twilight knows that's not what happened. Why does Celestia let them believe something that isn't true? After all, it isn't like knowing could hurt anypony, right?

The Dragons on Dazzle Island book was announced way back in April, but it's September 6th release date is drawing near. Barnes and Noble is looking to 1up Amazon's offerings with a free poster with pre-order, though they don't include an image or hint on what exactly said poster will be of.
If you want to roll the dice on it being something cool, go grab it over here! Considering the book is pretty heavy on the original art, I wouldn't be surprised if it does turn out pretty neat.
Thanks to Victor for sending it.

A website called Casting Weekly has a listing up for a Rainbow Rocks live stage show. Unfortunately the site requires a subscription fee just to look at it, but the description is pretty obvious:
Casting for international tour of world premiere
The entry for it actually closes today, so we will probably see the event happen relatively soon. If it's anything like the other shows that tour around Mexico and the Asian countries, it will probably be your typical high school musical style thing.
If you want to be in it and can sign up quick enough though, an international tour sounds like it might be pretty fun.
Thanks to Dusk for sending it.
