That's right, it's time for another Character Appreciation Day as International Friendship Day quickly approaches! As the pony sent on a quest to make friends almost five years ago Twilight made for an obvious choice to celebrate the day. She's even gone all out to don an ever popular hairdo for the event!
As usual with our Appreciation Day events it's up to the community to send in all things Twilight, whether you made it yourself or are passing along something cool involving or starring our favorite book horse. You all have until August 7th to submit your material to [email protected] with the subject header Twilight Appreciation, followed by what you are sending in for easier sorting whether it be art, music, PMVs, animations, ect.
I'll be posting updates on our progress as we get closer to Friendship Day as that seemed to do wonders for our Fluttershy and Celestia days some months back.
We look forward to hearing from you guys and seeing what you send us. Make Purple Smart proud!

With Guardians of Harmony wave one officially right around the corner, and it's seemingly instant sales every time we post it, we can probably expect to see a second wave following up on it. Chances are, a lot of said wave is either already in production, or at least already designed, but on the off chance someone from Hasbro might be browsing EQD seeking ideas, lets brainstorm more figure ideas!
Who else should get some Guardians of Harmony love? And what kind of poses/equipment should they have? Obviously, Trixie is going to storm the battlefield with a giant Ursa Major, but the other ponies are cool too.

The slightly freaky RADZ candy dispensers spotted at Toy Fair earlier in the year are now appearing in stores. These in particular were found at a Crackel Barrel in Phoenix Arizona.

As Bee had quite a connection with both the ND and the MD I thought it appropriate to post some art made in his memory for this morning. For those of you who usually only check out our Morning Discussion we have some sad new. Beebarb, a wonderful mod and friend, has passed away from health complications. If you'd like to leave a comment in his memory we have a memorial post here.
Rest in peace, Bee. You are missed by so many people.
