Something interesting appeared in the wild today! Toy Buyer Steven Anne posted a tweet up showing off some Marvel heroes, with this mysterious image in the background. It's the first time we have seen the My Little Pony movie directly linked to Guardians of Harmony. Now that we have the logo offiically announced, it's not too surprising to see it start to get used on packaging.
What do you all think? Will we see the movie create the toy line and eventual extra spinoffs as kids movies tend to do? Time for speculation!

That's right, the official My Little Pony Collectible Card Game has reached a new milestone: you can now run a Sweetie Belle deck where the she repeatedly encourages changelings to invade Equestria. Good times!

One thing people have requested countless times here on EQD is a better way to dig through the music posts here on Equestria Daily. With how much we have posted over the years, it's daunting to go through them with just the main three music tags we have up in the navigation bar. For the past year, I've been labeling music posts with genres even though we didn't have any formal way of quickly searching them. Right now, 2013 is currently being labeled (it takes a long time to go through the 3500 music posts we have up) but both 2014 and 2015 are ready to be searched.
Most music posts on EQD have three songs of wildly different genres, but searching a specific genre below will still give you a list of posts with at least one song that fits it in each.
Anyway, I'll shut up! Below the break, get every major music genre posted in Spotlight Music on EQD and discover some music with your specific tastes!

We have some sad news for you guys today to report. MelodicPony, the creator of absolutely stunning orchestral pony pieces since 2012, has passed away from an alleged stroke on December 12, 2014 at the age of 27. While starting as a rumor on one of his videos, I was able to contact the good folks of Czequestria (since Melodic lived in Prague) who confirmed through a friend of Melodic's that he had indeed died.
While he was only able to share with us a brief glimpse of his amazing musical talent, his works will be remembered and may he rest in peace. Thank you Melodic for sharing your work with us, we'll miss you.

A new pony game has popped up on the iOS Store. Unfortunately none of us here at EQD have Apple devices to try it, but the official description does a good job of explaining it:
