A Letter From Spike Firemane,
It's been four amazing years here in the Brony Fandom. Got to make a lot of friends, been out of my state several times and helped raised $15,000 for charity with my wood carvings. I am here to announce that Spike Firemane is retiring, meaning no more wood carvings for the various charity auctions. I will still be involved in the fandom, but as myself, Ed Goodwin 4th, not a pony persona.
As Lena Hall as Coloratura once said in "The Magic Inside"; I'm here to show you who I am, throw off the veil, it's finally time. I am tired of living behind that persona who is very much me but not. My main focus now from this point forward is the Brony Bullying Panels and trying to help reach out to those who are being bullied. If I offend anyone by this decision I am sorry but not sorry. You see, it's my decision to do this since it allows me to be who I need to be, myself! I keep saying time and time again at the Brony Bullying Panels, "Be Proud of who you are". But I am me, not Spike Firemane. I can't be living this lie anymore. So know that I am not leaving the fandom, just the false identity. And allow me, Ed, to show everyone what really matters to me, each and everyone of you!!!

Fantasy Football - Equestrian Football League
"Fantasy Football is basically Dungeons & Dragons for jocks football fans. You assemble a roster of individual players from across the National Football League, and then each week the individual performance of the player is tracked and scored. Positive actions like passing, catching, scoring touchdowns, or making field goals give you points. Negative actions like fumbles, interceptions, or losing yards can take away points. At the end of each Monday Night Football game your total score is added up to determine how well you did that week, and you are pitted against another team for a head-to-head match that determines a winner and a loser. At the end of the season the teams with the most wins will participate in a playoff tournament. The winner of the playoffs will be the champion."
About the league
Like before, the season will run from NFL Week 1 to Week 14. Weeks 15 and 16 will be the playoffs. We do not hold games on NFL Week 17, because a lot of playoff-bound teams will sit their starters that week to save them for a playoff run.
Expansion
Never played with us before? Never played fantasy football at all? That's OK, we (probably) have a spot for you too! We had 12 teams last year, which is just about the largest single league I'm comfortable with. (Any larger, and it becomes really hard to find decent players to fill out a roster with.)
Rules
Rule #1: Have fun!
Rule #2: I don't want to catch anyone not drinking during the games.
Rule #3: Please, please don't abandon your team because they're not doing well. It makes it hard on the other teams. Remember Rule 1.
Players that you will have to keep:
Starters: 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR (flex), 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 DEF - 8
Bench: 4 players
