Joining the MLP Comics that Panini Comic released last week in Mexico, Panini Comics Brazil has released the first trade collection of their Portuguese translation of the IDW MLP Comics. Which means that officially the IDW MLP Comics are published in 9 countries and in 7 different languages. That is something incredible when you think about it.
The volume is available to be ordered on both Panini Comic Brazil website and on Amazon Brazil, but is unable to be ordered outside of the country of Brazil and is only available to citizens or permanent residents of Brazil.
So short of taking a trip to Rio de Janeiro and trying to find a local comic shop there that has the comic, there is nothing that anyone outside of the country can do to get the book.
However, even though we won't be able to get our hands on this international edition, Kinomoto of Sonic Rainboom has posted an unboxing video showcasing the comic online in a youtube video. The video reveals that the edition corresponds to the IDW Trade Paperback release of The Return of Queen Chrysalis and various other posts in that thread pretty much confirm that the edition contains all the same bonus features that is available in the original trade.
I have no idea if this is going to be the only trade edition go the comic or not, but in any event it is something worth celebrating! The MLP comics truly have gone global!
