With just a couple months to go, BronyCon is happy to announce a bunch of fun events for con goers this year! Not only will you have a chance to put your costume designing skills to the test, but you'll be able attend the return of the Grand Galloping Gala!
For those of you who are more game oriented, Battle Gem Ponies will also be having a panel at the convention with Alpha Gameplay and a Q&A! Check out before pressers after the break!
BRONYCON ANNOUNCES ALL-NEW COSPLAY EVENTS, RETURN OF GALA
BronyCon is excited to announce the launch of registration for it’s all-new cosplay events, as well as the return of the Grand Galloping Gala.
This year’s cosplayers will have the option of participating in two different events. The Hall Cosplay Contest will allow cosplayers the chance to have the craftsmanship of their costume judged in a variety of categories. Hall Contest judging sessions will be semi-private, and participants must pre-register to participate. Winning participants will have the opportunity to receive prizes.
For cosplayers looking to show off their costume to a crowd, the Cosplay Fashion Show is the option for you. A non-judged opportunity to model your hard work, the Fashion Show is open to all cosplayers, including those participating in the Hall Costume Contest. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to check out the pre-registration form.

Also returning this year is the Grand Galloping Gala. Open to all attendees in cosplay or formalwear, the Gala is a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, skits, and more. Battle Gem Ponies!
Battle Gem Ponies is coming to both BronyCon and FillyCon this year with Alpha Gameplay and Q&A!
The panel will be hosted by @TonyYotes and @Yandereplane, much like the one at BronyCon 2015, but with a lot more content to show off this time around. The game is gearing up for a Steam Greenlight campaign in January 2017, so feedback on the BronyCon build will be super important and influential.
