Ponycon is excited to announce some BIG news: Welcoming MLP:FiM Supervising Director “Big” Jim Miller, Voice Director Terry Klassen, and the giant head of Tabitha St. Germain to Brooklyn NYC this February! www.ponycon.nyc
Jim Miller is the supervising director for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. After starting on MLP, he has since moved on to storyboard supervising in seasons 2 and 3, as well as the Equestria Girls movies. He became supervising director in season 5. Among his personal touches in storyboard revisions are Pinkie Pie's mane "poofing up" when she's happy and going flat when she's sad in The Cutie Mark Chronicles and Derpy's paper bag costume in Luna Eclipsed. Miller is credited for several stories in the series, including Princess Spike, Party Pooped, and Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?
As the voice director for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Terry Klassen’s unique perspective on the show’s creative process is sure to make him a crowd favorite. Terry has a passion for comedy and has been at it for more than 15 years. His keen eye for funny allows him to incorporate characters in genuinely innovative situations. Outside of My Little Pony, Klassen’s career has been diverse and multi-faceted, with credits as a show creator, writer, voice actor and voice director - a career which includes Emmy-nominated work.
Ponycon is also proud to welcome back Tabitha St. Germain, who will be joining via Skype. Tabitha St. Germain is an award-winning Canadian actress. She began working in animation in Toronto providing the voices for Kootie Pie Koopa in the Super Mario Bros. cartoons, Spryte the fairy in The Legend of Zelda, and Prudence in the Beetlejuice TV series. She has voiced many anime characters including Gotenks in Dragon Ball Z and Flay Allister in Gundam Seed. Most recently, she’s best known for voicing Princess Luna and Rarity, some of the favorite characters of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and many other cartoon and anime series.
