If you happen to be in the Tampa, Florida area on the 12th of August, they just announced Jayson Thiessen for their 2016 event. By then, I bet we have some movie news too to blabber at him with!

Jan. 16, 2016: The Grand Brony Gala of Tampa, Florida is delighted to announce that the Producer/Director of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Jayson Thiessen, will be a Guest of Honor at the convention for 2016. In 2009 Jayson took on the role of Supervising Director of MLP:FIM. In 2012, Jayson directed the spinoff My Little Pony, the movie; Equestria Girls which debuted at the LA film festival in 2013. He was later elevated to Co-Executive Producer on the series and continues to direct the latest season.
