Playdate Digital has once again released an episode in interactive app form for those on iOS. As with the last few, this one is primarily focused on the kids out there learning to read, though they tend to have some neat little easter eggs for everyone to check out. The full feature list includes:

The first time Friendship is Magic writers Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco will be showing off their style for us. Both have worked on previous cartoons, including Fairly Odd Parents and The Mighty B.

IT IS TIME.
This was the most ridiculous hiatus we have ever lived through. Luckily season 4 ended on an awesome note, so things didn't completely slow down on the ponynet. Twilight Sparkle proved her badassery, and season five promises to show off some very interesting sides of Equestria.
As with every year, we have dedicated episode posts going up each Saturday to make sure you all have access to it on INTERNET TIME!

The new episode is TODAY! Are you excited? Trixie is excited. She uncontrollably licked your screen. We all thought ponies evolved out of that.
She may have always been the unofficial mascot of EQD, and she will be seeing some original character competition soon, but that doesn't mean she's not going to adorn a banner or 30.
Will we see her in season five? She had a pretty big presence over the summer with the comics and Equestria Girls, but not so much as a background appearance in season 4. Have they exhausted the amount of humor they can pull off with her ridiculous personality? We will find out soon.
