This one actually went a bit longer than I thought it would, but we didn't have open slots with all the Toy Fair madness.
From the looks of it, very few of you absolutely hate shipping, with ~14% overall falling into both that category and "not being a fan of it". This leaves the majority either loving it or taking part in it, with a 26% that don't really care.
Interesting all around, and about what we'd expect from any fandom.

Legends of Equestria is planning yet another open server event for the 20th to the 21st of this month. They also released a bit of information on the last one, going over what exactly happened to cause connection issues. As many of you guessed it, a DDoS attack went down, something that even juggernauts like World of Warcraft get toppled by.
Expect primarily the same experience game-wise this weekend with a few minor fixes. Client downloads will be available soon.

Heya everyone! Calpain here from the command center of PonyCon to present some awesome news to you guys. PonyCon was a massive success this year, growing by 300% over last year! I'll have a retrospective up when I return, but I will say right now that PonyCon really kicked off this new year of pony with a bang!

We have been getting quite a few emails about this (which we don't mind at all, keep the news flowing), so I figured I'd get a bit of a clarification thing up to dispel any rumors.
IMDB is editable by anyone, with an extra tier for certain specific editors at the IMDbPRO level. While the April 2015 release date was added at this level, it's still not a confirmation on when we will actually see season 5. Along with this, it has a fan edited synopsis that was added a few months ago based on what we know so far.
So unfortunately, we still don't have a real season 5 date. It may end up being correct, but it's not official confirmation by any means. This also works for Wikipedia, which joins IMDB in being community run.
When the official air date does appear, expect us to EXPLODE with happiness.

Amy Keating Rogers has joined up with the Brony Thank You Fund for their future charity endeavors! The exact announcement below:
The Brony Thank You Fund, Incorporated is pleased to announce that show writer and author Amy Keating Rogers has joined the Board of Directors of the Fund. Ms. Rogers steps in for Pixelkitties, who is stepping down due to increased professional commitments. “We’re sad to see Pixel go,” according to Fund President James Turner, "but if we have to lose her, it’s hard to imagine a better replacement than Amy. She has already worked with us on several occasions, and we’re delighted to have her join us formally.”
"I'm really flattered that the Brony Thank You Fund has asked me to be a Board Member,” commented Rogers. "I think they do great work and am excited to join the team!”
Maybe we will get some Pinkie Pie music out of it? Here's to hoping!
