Playskool stuff popped up a few days ago, but the items that were on the way were all pretty small. We now have full size versions, along with new products that will be included in the lineup.
Toy Fair will probably be the big drop, but for now, we have specifics on a bunch of different ones. Head on down below the break to check it all out!

Hasbro's investor site had a few interesting toys buried in the piles of percentages and other data that most of us don't follow. We've seen the Friendship is Magic set sneak out on Amazon without images a few times over the past few weeks, but nothing substantial came of any of them, with many of the links being axed shortly after.
It's looking like these will follow a similar design to those show accurate mini packs we have seen at various major retailers over the years, with buildings and props included.

The team over at Diamond Select plans on showing off their merchandise lineup this Saturday during New York Toy Fair, but to get everyone hyped up for the event, they sent over one of their new vinyl banks! Pinkie Pie will be similar to the Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity, with a coin slot base to save some bits.

With Season 5 coming "soon" we've finally got a real trailer for what to expect! And of course what would any trailer be these days without some really in depth analysis?
Quite a few hidden things were scattered throughout to keep everyone guessing. For something that is only a minute and a half long, it sure did reveal a lot about the upcoming season. I hope you are ready for adventure.

Two weeks sure do fly by, don't they? While we didn't get as many entries this time around (probably due to school) we still managed 41 email entries for the second round of the Friend Off! Ranging from simple artwork to detailed creations, short stories to long epics we received all sorts for this event.I'll be dividing this post into two sections, one for stories based on pictures and one for pictures based on stories. Check them all out after the break and thanks again for participating! Look forward to the next round sometime in early summer or late spring! -
It's pretty difficult to fit an entirely different language into a scene after it is already fully animated, especially when it's a two and a half minute song. The Latin American voice actress behind Pinkie Pie decided to record her own version of it, live, acoustic style. I for one am beyond impressed.

That was a rather quick clarification! According to director Big Jim Miller, the unicorn we saw in the trailer and the alicorn on merchandise shelves are NOT the same pony. In fact, thanks to some digging thanks to Whatshisgame the alicorn on the merchandise shelves appears to be an OC designed by Dana Reynolds called Evening Starlite which can be found here.
That clears up some mystery, but leaves a bunch of questions still unanswered. Guess we'll just have to wait for the premiere!

She's already getting multiple names around the internet, but I'm going with the Mayor Marx one. Of all the generically happy new cartoon horses of this mysterious equal sign town, she seems to be the standout.
We have a full on trailer followup similar to our episode followups going up later that will be digging into absolutely every little nugget of information we can glean out of it (which turns out to be a lot), but this one seemed interesting enough to split off for a bit of early discussion.
