    Fallout: Equestria is a big, expansive and inclusive universe that has spawned a whole plethora of side-stories, the newest and freshly updated editions of which are listed below.
    This post only features New or Updated stories from Sunday, October 11th, 2015 through Friday, December 11th, 2015 for a total of 105 stories (45 of which are new) and 240 new chapters - but fear not, should you be searching for old favourites, you can find them at:

    A Promise [New]

    Description: While some accept the Wasteland's fury, letting it rip from them any hope and life, others still stand and fight. Littlepip was one of those ponies. She inspired thousands, and saved countless more. Security, in her own time and place, did the same.
    And of those they inspired, what of them?

    They say you can't change the past, but what if, there was a chance you could? Would you take it? In a land where life itself is not certain, the answer was obvious. Having located the time-travel spell in a ruined research facility, a simple settlement of ponies, and even a few griffins, set about to change history, or at the very least, get revenge for the future that was withheld from them. A mare's bond with her family drives her to what many would call insanity, even blasphemy. The cost is severe, the chances slim, but the eventual reward could be beyond measure.

    If you could change history, would you do it, even if it cost you everything?
    This is the story of what was, what could have been, and what will soon come to pass. The wasteland of Equestria is already such a dark place...
    Would you dare to try and change it, or seek revenge on those who's decisions caused millions to burn with Balefire?

With desert wasteland to the north and deadly swamp lands to the south, factions have sprung up intent on gathering whatever power remains to end this stalemate.

    One unicorn finds herself tossed from her life-saving stable into the harsh wilderness and, protected by a griffon on the run, finds herself trapped in the middle of the factions power plays. Together they must eek out a small living and try to find someplace, anyplace, where they can feel safe again.

    Description: This follows the story of Sky Baron a mare who works as a pilot for the Grand Pegasus Enclave stationed on the outskirts of Vanhoover in Thunderhead: Leviathan. On a training mission down to Vanhoover her Aerialbird gets shot down, and now she must make it so that her, and her squad can return safely. Though there a works in the background on a conspiracy on 3 squads similar to hers that wen't M.I.A in Vanhoover, and she begins to wonder the Enclave is truly the last hope for Equestra as the lines of duty, home, and family get blurred more and more.

    Two centuries later, a changeling wakes to find herself alone. The world she remembers is gone, scoured away under the fury of balefire. In its place is a barren wasteland, where ponies fight to cling to life; where love has been trampled underhoof in the name of survival.

Now, events are transpiring out of the control of Crystal Lane's leader, Princess Cadence, and now a hero must find her way through the Northern Equestrian Wasteland.

    Tags: Dark, Gore, and Sex are all tagged for their necessary additions and partial paranoia on my part for the last one on that list.
    Adventure and Crossover are self-explanatory.

    Homelands [New]

    Description: It's been a year since the events of Project Horizons. The Hoof is improving and doing better, and yet Scotch Tape feels increasingly adrift in a world that doesn't seem to know her. That doesn't seem to care. And she's not the only filly feeling the same way. Majina, who lost both her mother and brother, has little in the Hoof to care for her either, living day to day in the zebra refugee camps for the survivors of the horrible battle for the hoof. Both are left poking through the basement of Majina's mother's home in Chapel, where she collected a number of papers.

    It is in those papers that star cursed Starkatteri filly Pythia discovers an ominous letter written by the Caesar on the Day of Doom, his last order: 'Blind the Eye of the World'. Pythia knows the only way to learn what that means is to go there herself. She ropes in Scotch Tape and Majina (Because what are they going to do besides sulk and mope?) and makes arrangements to reach the land of Equestria's enemy. Along the way, the half dragon half pony filly Precious demands to come with them. And you don't say no to anything dragony.

    Together, they'll travel to a far away land that was also terribly savaged by the war, who's pain and suffering have yet to be known. Together, they'll find out what the zebra Caesar set into motion with his final command. And only together will they be able to save the Homelands.

    (Author's note: While helpful to read Horizons, most of the characters and events in Homelands do not require it. There may occasionally be references to Horizons and the original Fallout, but a new reader should be okay.

    Description: After the Lightbringer came, Equestria changed. The world was wiped clean of radiation, and Taint was but a word left for the lingering ear. With the Goddess destroyed, the Enclave's sinister plans derailed, and Red Eye's forces left to fill in the gaps left by a greater adversary, true light began to shine upon the world.

    But the fires of hatred are not so easily extinguished.

    From amid the ashes of a divided Equestria, new evils emerged. This time, there would be no heroes to stop them, and no more pesky stable dwellers to get in their way as survival of the fittest took on a whole new meaning. The poor suffered once again as society built upon the ruins of a new world, and a little mare in 79 only slept.

    Little does she know that she's in for a rude awakening.

    Frost Windchill isn't the only one in the Wasteland with a story to tell. With many years under his belt, the storyteller has met many others during his travels. Some were heroes. Some weren't. The Wasteland, after all, isn't kind to heroes.

    Off the Record is a compilation of side-stories that take place in the universe established by The Last Sentinel, ranging from post-apocalyptia all the way to before the Lunar Exile. Posting will have no regular schedule but instead will be done on the author's whim. Voting for the next segment may also occur, so keep your eyes peeled on the author's blog.

    Description: Years before Littlepip stepped from Stable 2, the Wasteland greeted all ponies with it's usual contempt. Tome Tale and his silent partner, Stranger, live day to day on their next bag of caps, until they stumble into something bigger than themselves.

    Bigger than the whole of Equestria.

    Based on Fallout: Equestria by Kkat.

    This story follows Tome Tale. A scholastic pony that prefers talking to fighting. Though he also has a bad habit of pissing ponies off. A pony with a hidden past, in an effort for caps he gets himself tangled in something not necessarily good for his health. A Wastelander that had long since hardened himself to the horrors of the Wasteland, the ice in his heart threatens to melt as friends are made, loves are lost, and the Wasteland and Stars yield their most darkest of secrets.


    NOTE 1: Only the original Fallout: Equestria is considered canon officially. I will however do my level best to not cross over with other large fics such as Projects Horizon or Pink Eyes. While I will not mention such events in my story, I will do my best not to negate them so readers may consider whatever they wish to be canon from other works. (This is not set in stone, and if I am faced with a situation where I must disregard the interpretations of PH or PE to further my story, I shall without qualm or hesitation, but I do not think such a scenario is likely. I have planned this story out heavily, and do not believe any of it will conflict with such stories.)

    NOTE 2: Tome Tale is an Earth Pony in the Wasteland. Too many stories are unicorns from stables, or other things like that. I wanted to write this story different from other ones. Tome Tale grew up in the Wasteland, he has already become hardened. Too often we are faced with an innocent character fighting the corruption of the Wasteland both internally and externally, and such story lines are very well written and received, but they ARE overused. Tome Tale is not such a story. His is a story not of fighting corruption in himself, but of redemption that can never be found. A heart which is cold, becoming warm again, and a pony such as him, learning what it means to be alive.

She earned the praise of the locals after becoming the accidental hero of the wastes around her home, but once the day is saved, being the hero is boring. She needs a new adventure.

    One day, a letter arrives, inviting her to join her brother in San Palomino on a search for their missing dad.

    She doesn't remember having a brother.

    It is, however, just what the doctor ordered. Now, if only this desert wasn't so damn hot...

    A hundred years later to the day, the Timely Manor still stands and invitations have been sent to the appropriate addresses. Invitations in hoof, a motley assortment of scavengers decide to see what this party is all about. But it proves to be nothing as whimsical as once intended.

    Author's note: This story was originally posted in my blogs. By popular request, I am now offering it as proper story, along with a new introduction. "Origin Story" is set within and framed by the world of Fallout: Equestria. However, only cursory knowledge of that story is required to fully enjoy this one. "Origin Story" does not need to be considered canon to Fallout: Equestria by fans or authors. As always, my goal is to create a friendly, hospitable atmosphere for people to discuss the story.     Flatfoot has always tried to live his life with optimism. He's been put into a job that goes against his Cutie Mark, has few friends, and lives in a dark and depressing Stable. But through all of this, he still tries to make the best of everything.

    His home, Stable 11, isn't like your normal underground bunker. For in this stable, ponies are forced to perform horrible acts of nature. As stated when the door closed, one pony is to be sacrificed every year. The price for not doing so: death to all in the stable. So the votes are counted, and a pony is killed.

    But the rules of the election have changed, and Flatfoot has just figured it out. Now, his friends are in danger and the OverStallion wants him dead. With nothing for him in the stable anymore, Flatfoot flees outside to the Equestrian Wasteland.

    His goal: find more ponies like him, and save his stable from the dictator that runs it.

His other skills involve him getting into situations much to demanding for his skills, which often causes him to lose money and clients.

    This job however, has the promise of fixing everything; perhaps change his luck even. With the promise of over 2000 easy caps for a trip from the Crystal Empire Ruins all the way down into Las Pegasus, this could potentially clear up his remaining debts and even put him in the green.

    Unfortunately as per his current record of employment, Titan learns that his new charge is much more important than first let on. With the employer and debt collectors looking down his back, can Titan recover under pressure or will working alone finally catch up to him and prove to be his downfall?

    Who can he turn to for help? Can he turn to anypony for help or will he be doomed to walk the Lonesome Road forever?

The Nega Zone provides a few more challenges than most parts of the Wasteland, most notably is that no magical power can be used in it. For Rangers that means no power armor or energy weapons.     Amidst the worst hit during the apocalypse, the Islands of Marewaii were left as shadows of their former selves. Being the center port for Equestrias naval campaign, when the bombs flew, the Islands were a priority target for the Zebras. Megaspells of Balefire bombarded the big island, and the magical fallout that followed covered each of the others. The magical destruction was so great that the air itself became poisoned, a poison that persisted for over two hundred years.

    But like with the rest of Equestria, life continued to go in. Deep under the cities during the way, a vast metro system had been made. It was constructed both for transportation, and for emergency shelter in case the war ended in a balefire rain. Tens of thousands of ponies had fled underground, unsure if they would even survive the end of the world at all. Many closer to the surface didn't, but the ones that did went on to rebuild society in their new underground home.

    Over two hundred years later, our story picks up. A mirage pony mare named Vibraphone Echo, received a message about a job. This "search and rescue" job will pay a years worth of bits as payment. A simple job, one that gave her a bad feeling, but worth too many bits to pass up.

    They say that war never changes, but ponies do through the paths they chose to walk.

The night would come and we would dream of home, until it grew too distant of a memory to dream of, and became some place far at the end of the trail. Still, we pressed on.

    We wanted to go home. And for every step closer, we took one step further away from ourselves. We only hope there is something left of those who set out once we return.

    This is a serious take on self-inserts and human to pony stories. If you don't like that kind of story, than this one isn't for you. It is the hard work of five writers poured into one story, one song of life with a sorrowful soul. If there is something you don't like, comments help more than downvotes.

Those few Ponies who were fortunate, or cursed enough to survive the war by means of submitting to its diseases, would only live through it so that they can witness other Pony survivors finish the job that the Bombs started. Ignorant, or unaware of how close Ponykind is to extinction, most of the Pony population today is comprised of madness, greed, and even simple hunger, but above all, evil.

    Raiders, Merceneries, Mutants, Monsters. Things that had no place in the once peaceful land that was called Equestria.

    However, against all new rules of survival, those who lived through the Apocalypse, had carried along with them what they thought mattered. They carried memories, of the world that they have seen destroyed. Some losing fiath completely, have burried those memories and sucommed to the horrors of the new world. Some were crazy enough to have tried to turn those memories into realities. But most "Lucky survivors" have simply spread those memories in hopes that true Hero's of the Wasteland would carry those memories into the darkness, and light up hope.

    But the Equestrian Wasteland, has its price of being magical once again. Those who wish to bring back harmony and peace to it, are tested. They are tested on how far they are willing to go, in order to achieve their missions. On how much they are willing to sacrifice.

    There is always a cost.

    The cost for some Hero's, is often how they'd preffer to act like Hero's.

    Even Hero's must kill. And even Hero's must act in ways that would not make them look like Hero's.



    While true Hero's do what they can to make the Equestrian Wasteland a better place, few of them try to be as merciful and good-hearted as our young Protagonist Gideon, a slave with a thirst for vengeance ONLY for those who have kept him in the life of chains.

    And even fewer of them fight fire with fire the same way his companion, the so-called 'Trotting Dead Killer' does. When Gideon's passion to be a savior will lead him and his friend through the nightmares of the Wasteland, his anti-heroic Ghoulish friend will almost obsesively try to push him into just one rule: "Survival, no matter the cost, and morality and pride be damned".

    Is the Wasteland really as cruel and hopeless as the Ghoul Pony believes? Having witnessed the Wasteland actually hapenning? Or is true Equestria still possible to be reborn like Gideon believes? Does the magic of Harmony still exist? The difficult Friendship between them and their companions will influence each ones opinion on the matter as they'll try to both survive and make differences in their adventures. Adventures to places that will be highly based on the Fallout DLC's The Pitt, Operation: Anchorage and Point Lookout.

    Stable 17 was built within the region of Transylvania in northwestern equestria, situated between the base of Smokey mountain and Vanhoover. The primary focus was to protect the native ponies who resided in the area. These ponies were commonly known as "Bat-Ponies" by the other races of Equestria, sporting fangs and leathery wings. Untouched by the horrors of balefire and holocaust, Transylvania still retained it's classical outlook of Equestria, albeit rundown from lack of maintenance, a vast village in with the construction plan according to how the rocky forested landscape allowed the fanged ponies to build. With it's economy driven mainly by the farming of it's residents, the town saw little to no action in the war, and was blissfully left out of the main attacks during the rain of balefire bombs that consumed Equestria.

    When a crazy madmare within the stable fought for control over the Overmare's position, my best friend, Scarlet Rose, and I were forced to flee, finding ourselves out in the open world of the Bat-Pony lands. With no supplies, nor knowledge of the wasteland before us, we found refuge in a settlement located at the base of the Stable's structure, what was now called Smoked Out Mountain.

    With the secrets tucked away within the forested overgrowth of Transylvania's lands slowly becoming ever present, Scarlet and I are tasked to not only protect the sovereignty of Transylvania, but also the existence of our dying race.
