Can Pegasus Really Fly? Physics Students from The Department of Physics and Astronomy Find Out!
by Sethisto
It's pretty obvious that the pegasus of ponyland would probably have some difficulties lifting off in reality based on their wing size. But what would it take to actually get them in the air? Unfortunately, we don't have Equestrian equine size, but we do have earth horses thanks to the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
It turns out, wings are going to have to be pretty ridiculously large to do any kind of flying. Longer than a double decker bus to be exact.
You can probably mentally scale that down for our cartoon ponies. Dashie needs to do a bit more growth!

Thanks to Daniel for the heads up!
