OC Blind Bag Contest
I haven't had a big contest in a while and I wanted to do one that would be fun and easy. So I decided to have an OC blind bag contest. For those that aren't familiar with the blind bag merchandise, they are smaller pony figures that you won't be able to see until you open the package. If you look at the package, it usually has a vector of the ponies you can collect from that series and they are usually mane 6 recolors. So that is where you come in, your goal is to recolor one of the mane six blind bag vectors with new and original color combinations. Be sure to read the rules for the contest below.
So basically you are just going to recolor one of the mane 6 and whoever has the best color combo wins.
How to enter
- create a journal advertising the contest
- leave a comment saying you are entering so I can get a good idea on how many are participating
- post your recolor
Rules
- you can have more than one entry
- entry must be created for this contest
- bases are allowed just be sure to give proper credit ("found this on Google" doesn't count)
- you cannot use the same color combination of your existing OC(s)
- there is a chance that the contest will be cancelled if there aren't enough entries
- don't throw an attitude if you don't win
- don't bad mouth other entries or you will be disqualified
- no pity party comments like "here is my entry but I know I won't win"
- you can keep the OC when the contest is over or I'll keep it if you want me to
- the entry will be judged by visual appeal
- do not pass of an existing blind bag pony as your own
- you can add extra accessories and features to your recolor
- oc must have an original cutie mark
Prizes
- 30 Points
- a redesign of the winning character (unless you want it to remain a recolor)
