"About a week ago (please don't sing it), we found that a fanart of Rarity got into a local Malaysian Newspaper called Harian Metro, which has lots of readers! It is quite a bizarre sight to see anything MLP related on in Malaysian media considering it is not famous. The article in which included the pony is about 'not realising yourself'."

This is pretty cool! Pony just seems to pop up randomly doesn't it?
"Some of the Vanderbilt baseball players are up as finalists for the 2015 Golden Spikes Award (college baseball's MVP equivalent), so apparently the team's Twitter account thought the use of dorkable Twilight would help their fans vote for their players. I guess they appreciate Equestria Girls even in the sporting world, even if it is college sports!"

Tonight's Successful Meetups
May the Horse be with You - NYC Meetup
The forces were strong over the weekend as many members of the Brony community assembled in New York City. Bronies-NYC set in motion to organize an event so huge in theme for the month of May to celebrate the theme of the Star Wars franchise.
The Bronies came out in high spirits for the event, traveling in not just from the city but from different states and also different countries!
There were various vendors on site to offer the ponies for everyone, from the comics to plushies and pony prints!
The newly released episode was played for all to see on the big screen so that everyone could enjoy it together. There was a full set gaming station with Super Smash Brawl with a full player counts all through the night. Artists from the community also came out to show their talent with the provided live draw station to accommodate both traditional and digital artists, even Penn from the EQD staff joined in to share his trade.
Also community guest TheInvertedShadow came in to show a teaser of his newest SFM project that will feature an untold tale from the Star Wars Universe…with Ponies!
Then for the late night, turn down the lights, turn up the tunes and fire up the lasers, cause it was time to rave! With the group’s own DJ Serif and DJ Kezzim, with special guest performer YourEnigma. Lots of tail shaking and light saber battles took place on that floor through the night.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS Tourney
Hello everypony! There 8 days left until the first Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U Tourney! Can everyone who registered please send me their friend code? I will also ask by email. If anyone still wants to register, please do so and email winggamingproductions@gmail.com! Registration closes June 3rd!
So here are all the details and rules of the tourney!
1) Anyone who enters can only enter one tourney UNLESS there are spots open. First come, first served.
2) You may enter both the 3DS and Wii U tournaments
3) If there are any signs of cheating and/or spamming, the match will be canceled and the person cheating and/or spamming will be disqualified (example of spamming(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnM-1fwkouI) Spamming is if you use only one move the whole match Keep your eye on the Charizard in this video.)
4) When the tourney starts on Sat., it will be completed by at least Sun.
5) This tourney is a single elimination! So try your hardest!
6) The stages will be omega form no items. Pretty much like For Glory.
7) These matches are 1v1. I will always host a room and i will jump off the platforms until I'm out. Then you start the match once I'm gone. There will not be any other spectators. Only the challengers and I allowed.
8) I will talk to Calpain or Sethisto about getting a discussion for the tourney days. You can ask me any questions on there or just figure out whats going to happen next.
9) If there are any rage quits, you will be disqualified immediately
10) If there are any disconnections, unless you have a reason why (needs to be legit), you will be disqualified

Brony Musician in Need of Help - Update
Hello all, I'm Night Breeze / Wind Wolf, an active musician from the fandom since 2011, and programmer from Silly Mare Games (pony games like Harmony PCG, Choke on my Woona, SMG's Nightfall, and more), and I'm in need of help. I've been having some serious economic problems since November, and times have been quite complicated. I currently have no home, so I'm living in my mother's and step-father's house, but it can't go on like this any longer. I've been looking for a job since November as well, but to no luck. My country isn't currently okay economy-wise, and besides, I'm still just a student.
I'm stuck right now. My dream is and have always been to be a composer- I simply love music, it is my passion, it is truly what I love to do. I've developed myself in music for over a decade, and I don't want to give up on it.
Luckily, I recently found out about Patreon, and a new window opened. It truly can help me get out of this mess, and go on. In case you don't know about it, it is a website developed to support artists, through which I can get a small income for each music track I compose. And it REALLY WORKS. Some people got on board already, and it has been helping me A LOT so far. I'm incredibly thankful to say that, with your help, I'd be able to keep growing on my music, and pursuing my passion.
There's this chance, this BIG chance-- with your help, I KNOW things can be different. All I need is a small, tiny bit of support. A small economic aid for each new full track I compose (wether pony-related or pony-unrelated), usually just twice a month (never more than that). Doesn't matter how small the help is, it would make ALL the difference in the world to me. I'm currently 79% through for the first milestone! I know this can be done, and I'll keep working hard for it.
