I didn't care for Tree Hugger too much, but a lot of others seemed to really like her! It was an entertaining episode and pony has been doing great so far this season. Hope next week is just as good!

Roth Regatta, Ponies take second place!
Ponybrook University enters annual Roth Regatta with Discord Boat!
Dating back to the 80's when My Little Pony was fresh on the scene Students at Stony Brook University on Long Island in New York have been doing something out of the ordinary each spring. Without fail in late April, early may they work for weeks on end building boats made out of nothing but cardboard. It's part of an annual ritual meant to inspire increased recycling in the weeks around earth day, and thus far it has been working.
This is all part of the tradition know as Roth Regatta, wherein students enter their cardboard creations made only of recycled materials in a multi-tiered boat race to see who's craft is capable of crossing the campus' (incredibly small) pond in the shortest amount of time.
While the usual participants from the usual clubs were steadfast in seeking victory, there was a new challenger this year as PonyBrook University threw their pastel colored hats in the ring! In sticking with this year's theme Mainstream Fantasy the group chose to design their boat in the image of Discord the Draconequus, to better compete with the Athletic Department's Dragon from the Neverending Story boat, and several other clubs who made boats in the shape of Appa from The Last Airbender. Needless to say it, in terms of fabrication is was amazingly well crafted.
Ironically due to a friendship malfunction, PonyBrook went home having only taken second place in Heat 20, one of the many bracketed races that day; but due to their incredible engineering and design skills the S.S. Chaos as it is now affectionately called, is being prepared to sail again on the great south bay for one final voyage!

Tonight's Groups Looking For More
Fundraising Request: Taiwan Brony Northern Meetup 2015
The Taiwan Bronies have traditionally held one big meet-up in the city of Taipei that serves as their biggest meet-up of the year. Last year 150 bronies got together to celebrate the magic of friendship with pony games and pony art. This year the organizers are planning their most ambitious event yet, with games and fun happening throughout the day. It will be like the never-ending Brony Party, and will happen on August 16 in the district of Shilin, home of the famous Shilin Night Market.
At least, that is what will happen only if we meet our fundraising goal. The plans are ambitious but also very expensive. We have tried crowdsourcing within Taiwan, but we have only been able to raise 2/3 of the necessary funds, leaving us $3,200 short. With the deadline to accrue funds coming up in just ten days, we have decided to turn our fundraising efforts abroad. People that donate above a certain level will get exclusive memorabilia from the event, including limited edition posters and T-shirts. And if you happen to be in Taipei on August 16 you will be welcomed to join the party. Of course anybody that donates will have our eternal gratitude.

A Swedish Brony Meetup in July
I just wanted to annonce a Brony meetup at the Swedish convention Närcon July the 25:th.
I'm spreading the word to make sure people hear about it. Several cosplayers are said to be attending!

MVP Brony Group Looking for Friends
Hallo liebe Bronies,
Ich bin Flutterguy96 und habe hier ca. 15 Leute von den Toten erwecken können. Wir treffen uns öfters in Rostock und sind soweit ganz happy mit einander, aber dennoch stört es mich, dass in diesem riesigen Gebiet kaum ein Brony aktiv zu sein scheint.
Ich und die Anderen aus meiner Truppe sind uns ziemlich sicher, dass es mehr Bronies in MV gibt und wir würden uns freuen, wenn wir hier zukünftig auch grössere Treffen organisiert bekommen würden.
Selbst wenn jemand spontan zu keinem Treffen kommen kann, wäre es gut zu wissen wen von euch die Idee generell interessieren würde. Zudem kann es auch sein, dass ihr Leute kennt, die wirklich auf solche Treffen gehen wollen und auch können.
Wir freuen uns über jegliche Besucher, Neuzugänge oder auch Hilfe und wünschen allen noch eine schöne Season 5.

Hello everypony, my name is Flutterguy96.
I succeeded in bringing back about 15 people from the area of "Mecklenburg-Vorpommern" into an active status and things are doing well here. We often meet at the area of Rostock and enjoy ourselves quite much.
Still, it irks us that, in the huge area of Mecklenburg Vorpommern, there only seem to be 15 active bronies and pegasisters.
We are certain that there are more bronies around here and we would be pleased if future events of a bigger size were possible, including more/all of them.
Even if one can't participate in such an event at the moment, he might know another person who could do so or who would want to.
We would welcome all help in finding new members and obviously, every new contact and visitor.
