Last month we spotlit a new project starting up that would support wild animals through proceeds generated by purchases of an artbook. Since then the project has really taken off and they are ready to start taking pre-orders!

Just one short month later and we are absolutely astonished by the outpouring of support from the community this project has received. So far an astonishing 50 artists have joined to contribute their art work!!! From the bottom of our hearts we thank you so much everyone who has helped Friendship is Wild become a reality! The book is set to release in early June. Only 250 books will be printed so hurry and pre-order your copy now! 100% of the profits made from this book will go to Wildaid, a charity set on ending the illegal wildlife trade. When the buying stops, the killing can too.
The illegal wildlife trade is worth over $10 billion (USD) per year and is killing off many endangered species at alarming rates. If the demand for products such as ivory and furs is stopped, there will be no more need for the killing of some of nature’s most majestic creatures. However this starts with reaching out to everyday people like you and me to show that the price of such products is much much greater than any physical currency. The Friendship is Wild Project was founded on the idea that, together, we can enact great change through creativity and generosity. Bronies have proven again and again through the years to be absolutely amazing in their ability to help those in need. This book was created for bronies, by bronies to not just showcase amazing art, but to help our animal friends because friendship is not only magic, it can also be WILD.
If you would like to help contribute to this project, submissions for artists are still open, but close on April 10th. Even if you are not an artist you can still be an a huge help to the project by sharing it or pre-ordering the book.
