While a bunch of us are currently bombarding the investor call this morning hoping for a season 5 release date, a bit of pony news was specifically pointed out. While we don't have the exact numbers due to them clumping pony stuff in with other "franchise brands", they did note that Equestria Girls has grown the My little Pony IP up by double digits for 2014 and the 4th quarter.
I don't think there is any fear of Friendship is Magic or Equestria Girls ending in the near future. Expect the series and movies to keep going for quite a while longer with how excited they are about both segments.
