THE YEAR IS 2025
After a successful decade and a half of Friendship is Magic, the team over at Hasbro has decided to once again unleash a new generation of My Little Pony on the masses. Flash has long since been eclipsed by much more advanced technology in the art field, and with cartoons flipping over to all sorts of wild styles because of it, it's time to move on.
New tech allows for just about anything while keeping the budget realistic. What was once considered far too costly to produce, is now well within the realm of possibility. Want full 3D Pixar level animation? Done! Oldschool Disney movie painterly backgrounds? Easy!
The hypothetical Hasbro big wigs in 2025 aren't completely oblivious to the brony fandom's long existence of creating stupid amounts of art though, and so they are turning to the community for ideas. We have had some amazing artists over the years, and some of their styles just might be what the world of G5 is looking for.
So, good citizens of our 2025 new pony release, which artist from the fandom would you grab to do the art on Generation 5?

Civilization 4 may not be the most recent installment to the series, but that doesn't mean people aren't still modding it like crazy. A new one has arrived that adds a whole bunch of pony related things to the game, from actual unit models covering all sorts of major characters, to the info screens and icons.

The Pinkie Rap was one of the greatest points of Season 5, but we never saw much use for it in the music community. The remixes were few and far between. I blame the lack of rappers in the community. We don't have many anymore do we?

The Equestria Daily Q & Neigh is happening at 4 pm EST on December 31st 2014. Or 9pm GMT, 1pm CET, and 8am Eastern Australia.
It'll be happening right here in a bright shiny Google Hangout. You can tune in and watch us ramble and generally be silly and unprofessional. We'll also upload it after it's done so those of you who missed it or want to keep it for memories won't be left out.
We'll need stuff to talk about, that's where you come in. Leave questions in the comments or tune in and ask us while it's going on. Either way, it should be a lot of fun.
We'll do out best to get as many folks as we can but we can promise that Alexstrazsa, Pegasus Rescue Brigade, Myself, Midnight Shadow, Gameleon will be there. We'll do our best to have even more people too.

Just gaze into those soulless eyes. The hair on the back of my neck stands up, and I can feel the adrenaline start to pump as my fight or flight response kicks in. Perhaps they were aiming for something else entirely (Rudolph), but all I see are visions of dark alleyways and squeaky noses as a duo of fanged monstrosities in white makeup bare down on me wielding bloody butcher knives.
I hate clowns.
