After the usual bombardment of "Where's season 5?" questions, Big Jim decided to drop this one off to quell some of it. According to him, it is neither late nor behind. Hasbro's announcement is up in the air, but as far as production is concerned, it's on schedule.
Now here's to hoping that date pops up soon! You can stop asking them on Twitter in the meantime though! -
From the 30th to the 2nd over in Downtown Detroit, the Japanese pop culture convention Youmacon will be hosting a couple of big names from pony as guests. This includes musician The Living Tombstone, fan animation creators Silly Filly Studious, and voice actress Nowacking.
If you want to attend, information on it can be found over here.

[Dark][Crossover]
Author: Polecat
Description: Sunset Shimmer has returned to Equestria, but not in a condition that any pony could have anticipated. Now her corpse, seemingly untouched and unharmed, lies on the floor, with only two books as to hint as to what may have happened. One, a book on something that shouldn't exist, Human magic. The other, a bit-store novel from a human author with the oddly pony name of "H.P. Lovecraft". Will Twilight be able to unravel the mystery?

Seems like shirts are becoming the go to item as the fandom ages. These things are everywhere. We have another one from another new source. Thinkgeek tossed the above up for 20 bucks. If you want it, find it over here.

Broadway Superstar Lena Hall was just confirmed by Hasbro for an upcoming role in season 5. While they didn't specify what it is, with her skills in both singing and acting, it wouldn't be too surprising if she pulled off a song. I guess we will find out soon!
Check her out over on Twitter!
Thanks to Maneshadow and SleepySteve for sending it!

We had the image of the 4de Doctor Whooves plushie pop up a while ago, but there wasn't any information on how the variants would work. Time to update that! Toywiz added a bunch of their upcoming plushies for pre-order, and now we have variants joining them. "Cool Eyes" Doctor Whoof is the one on the left for this interested in getting that one instead.
And to go with him, they also listed Rainbow Dash, though her image is still a prototype on their page. Have some links!

Technically one of the most popular pony songs out there was Nightmare Nights based. This month has been good to us. Get another one of those in the first slot, and some Hardstyle in the second!
1.) Silver Note - Imbalance (Nightmare Night 2014) (Vocal - Metal)
2.) 174UDSI & Soundspark feat. Melody Bird - Everfree Forest (Vocal - Hardstyle)

Another chance to collect or catch up on the main series of MLP comics has released. The MLP Omnibus covers the first four arcs of the story, including the Chrysalis Saga (4 comics), the Nightmarity arc (4 Comics), the Big Macintosh 2 parter, and the Shining Armor with Princess Cadance high school duo. Altogether, that nails 12 issues with 280 pages. It is a bit smaller than the full size comics, at 5.8" x 8.8" instead of the usual 6.6" x 10.2", so if you want a bigger more traditional size, it might be best to plop the extra money down on each individual one instead.
You can find it over here.
Thanks to Robert for he heads up!
