The random merch just keeps flowing lately. It seems Hasbro is doing yet another huge push on the weird side of ponyland.
The set up above is a magnetic dress up thing, with base pony models and accessories to drop on top of them. Maybe fun for the fridge? Get it at Sams Club. Thanks to We Are Borg for sending it!

Wake up Twilight, its WINTER WRAP UP DOMINATION time. That last poll showed how much you all love some ponies working the seasons, and since episode followups didn't exist way back in the season one days, lets do that for the winners in this little event shall we?
Expect things to be a bit different, as looking three years in the past means we have a lot more canon to build upon post-episode. Winter Wrap Up was super early on, and quite a few mysteries of Equestria hadn't yet been revealed. It did drop the first major song though, and probably sold the series to a lot of you.

Once upon a time, I believe it was around 12:30 on a saturday, at the Manchester Central Convention Center where BUCKcon was being held, G.M. Berrow, writer for the MLP chapter books, took the main stage for her panel.
After starting a short "Fun fun fun" chant in the audience, accompanied by a just a mic and a slide show, she told about the creative process of writing the books followed by answering questions from those who were daring enough to go up to the mic in front of the stage.

Something for the creative people out there popping up at Walgreens. Similiar to those Design a Pony toys with the stickers all over them by default, we now have completely blank molded Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. It looks like the paint selection is pretty limited, but you can always mix them for more colors I guess right?
