BronyCon just happened, and news media everywhere had stuff to say about it leading up to the event. When a massive amount of pony fans decide to gather up and have some fun for the weekend, people notice.
Unfortunately, some notice it in the wrong way, and blow things out of proportion. Over on a site called City Paper based in Baltimore, one of their writers decided to go all out on the "this is creepy" bandwagon, with the usual "I take take things way too seriously and live my life on a slippery slope" points we see in some of these.
Obviously in order to start an uproar, she needed to dig into the world of Google searches with safesearch off (which is ridiculous in itself for someone scared of the internet), so viewer discretion is advised.

Seems about right for our generation. I bet if we did this poll 10 years ago it would be completely different. It always amazes me how quickly technology advances.

Earlier, we posted two animatics from Jan Animation's panel. Unfortunately, it looks like they were both created pre-cease and desist, which means there are no guarantees that they will ever actually release.
Exact note from Jan:

About three weeks ago, I decided to roll the dice on a Zecora from China. After reading up on the % chance hat it will come filled with asbestos and painted with lead, I decided that my health was worth the risk. Apparently that sort of thing isn't too common anymore. Onlyfactory may have bit the dust on pony stuff, but I figured I'd review it anyway. Not much harm can be done when they are closed down after all!

Another one coming from the camera phones of convention goers. During the Jan Animation panel, both Button's Adventure 2 and the Pony Rock Anthem animatic were revealed for those in attendance. Unfortunately they were filmed vertically. Can't have everything right?

Tribal ponies! Someone pointed out yesterday that I forgot to mention that each of the pony races consider themselves tribes according to the Hearthswarming Eve episode. We are still going to be debating the Pegasus vs. pegasus thing forever though here on EQD.

You wake up one day after a night of glorious sleep, only to find your favorite pony has suddenly appeared and is currently trying to figure out your computer, laptop, or tablet, with limited success due to hooves. Instead of freaking out that your favorite pony suddenly exists, and is in your place of residence, something in the back of your mind tells you to play it cool, and act like it's no big deal. You need to show this pony the WONDERS OF THE INTERNET.
Head on over to those bookmarks, or however you do your daily internet routine, and give him or her some of your favorites. Maybe Twilight Sparkle would be impressed by your extensive collection of e-books on your favorite book downloading website? Or Fluttershy in r/awww? It's up to you?
