In what can only be considered a direct sale to the sock and stockings loving brony community, the new talking Chrysalis is has now appeared in the packaging. Apparently she is a Toys R' Us exclusive, and if those boxes are any indication is either shipping soon or already shipped.
I wonder how long it will be until we get an entire lineup of funko toys in various forms of pony style lingerie? With gothic characters joining the official line with this new "Pony Mania" thing, it's only a matter of time!

And if you need help finding cards, they have a store locator to give you an idea on where to grab them. If the major retailers are any indication, they tend to be a little bit difficult to find. -
For whatever reason, I always preferred Lyra and Bonbon as friends or room-mates instead of a couple. I have no idea why.

Doctor Whoof has teamed up with just about everyone in fanon these last few years, but it is only recently that they seem to really be going all out with the "this is the doctor" references. Korea has taken it one step further with a full on "Allons-y!". During their episode of Call of the Cutie, The Doctor exits the scene with his trademark saying. We art starting this one off a bit different than usual. It's not really SFM, but instead more of a radio play with the source ponies. If you like the doctor though, it's a pretty fun one.
And in slot number two and three, we go back to the usual with a remade pony scene via some awesome SFM animation followed by some not so smooth SFM animation but still reasonably animated Discordy. Yes, this is the process EQD goes through every day when labeling things. Imagine that. Get both of them below!

We are reporting on the fringe of pony once again. This is pretty awesome though!
Lauren Faust, creator of our beloved ponies, has signed a deal with Sony Pictures Animation to work on a brand new feature length movie titled Medusa. With a whole boatload of greek mythology, we will set out on a journey following a young girl cursed with hair filled with snakes as she tries to find a way to fix it while travling with a group of mythological creatures. Lauren Faust explains it best, have the quote:
“Todd and Holly's version of the tale of Medusa is filled with so many of my favorite ideas to work with: magic, mythology, humor and strong, funny, extremely relatable characters. I was excited by the idea of showing the comedy behind an otherwise horrific monster, and I was really drawn to the writer's unique re- imagining of Greek mythology. In our story, we meet Medusa as a young human, who, like so many of us, is overwhelmed with trying to fit a certain mold to please others. Her resulting popularity ticks off the wrong Goddess who turns her into the snake-haired monster we all know and fear. Medusa sets out on a quest to reverse this curse with the help of a goofy team of oddball and misfit mythological creatures who help her learn that what makes you different is, in fact, what makes you strong.”
That has me pretty excited right there. If there is one thing Lauren rocks at, it's building a team of interesting characters and working through their reactions.
We don't have a release date yet, but I think this is something we will most likely follow right along side pony, so expect more updates as we see them.

Is there any classic game out there that isn't about to be ponified? Connect 4 looks to be reviving an upgrade if the listing over at Toysonfire is any indication. Apparently this one ships some time this month too. I'd play it.
